Meta quest 3s controller

Yesterday I was playing with my controller just fine not turning off on me but today when I move my arm to fast or just move then the wrong way they disconnect and its only been happening to the left but then the right started doing it and now they just suddenly start working like why are my controllers acting up because they are going to do it again I need solutions

  • Sounds like the batteries are a little loose. Did you use a different brand this time around, perhaps? Try adding a bit of aluminium foil between the contacts to prevent accidental disconnects when you are flailing your arms about. Maybe clean the contacts with a cotton swab and a little white vinegar.

Do as smellycornersays also check that your sensors on the headset are clean, and if you are using any controller covers or headset cover, take them off and try again. Some of these products can block the signal to the controllers. And of course the obvious, make sure your batteries aren't drained.

As steve_40 mentioned, it could be a battery issue. This may be worth looking at for the fix.

Dark_Ms.Maddie  it's always worth trying to rotate the positive terminal a quarter of a turn as mine look a little more flush to the insulator ring than yours. You can use a sharp implement or a phone dibber or pencil with an reasor on the end to turn it.

Theres also the foil trick where you fole up a small ball of aluminium foil, flatten it slightly and pop it in the recess where the positive terminal is and then fit the battery. This just stops it moving around.

There's your problem. The positive terminals in your controllers (the metal part) should be perfectly flush with the circular plastic part. Yours have been pushed in too much. There was a user in another thread who had exactly the same problem.
