Meta quest pro controllers disconnecting

We saw your post on our forums and thought we could help with your controller issue. Please take a look at the steps below to get your controllers to stop disconnecting so frequently and get you back to playing all of your favourite games once again.

-If the SOS is flashing, remove and reinsert the battery.

-Restart your headset.

-Unpair and re-pair your controllers to your headset using the Meta Horizon mobile app. Ensure that your headset is awake and nearby.

-Use the software update tool to check for and install any available updates.

-Perform a hard reboot. Hold down the power button for 30 seconds or until you hear the device reboot again.

If your problem has been fixed, then great! We hope you have a good time playing with your pro controllers once again. 

If it keeps disconnecting, the battery might be loose. You can try a different brand battery or put a bit of aluminium foil between the contacts so the battery doesn't lose contact when you are waving your arms about.
