The passthrough on my Meta Quest 3 is very poor..

Question

As soon as I unboxed my brand new Meta Quest 3 and put it on for the first time, I noticed that the quality of the passthrough was VERY poor and grainy. I tried changing the lighting and cleaning the lenses, but none of it really helped. I've seen other people complaining about similar issues on forums. Some people have also posted photos of themselves using their phone camera for showing their passthrough quality, but my quality is WAY MUCH worse than theirs. I just wanted to make sure it isn’t just me, and if not, how to fix it.

That looks great, way better than mine 😲. There's nothing wrong with your passthrough 🙂.
Edit: now I'm worried that my passthrough might be defective 🙃.

You should see the passthrough of the Quest 2..... you wouldn't say Q3 passthrough is grainy then 🤣🤣

Well it's not exactly great to start with, enough for getting around without falling over anything. 😂 But you seem to be having a worse experience. If your game view is ok, it's likely a software issue.. Try a soft reset first and if it doesn't work, a factory reset. Just make sure cloud backup is enabled on the headset and run a backup of your games and apps.&nbsp;

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, a soft reset didn't work for me. I will send a picture of my passthrough and please, if its not normal, tell me.
