Wifi will not connect to my Oculus Quest 3

IT HAS BEEN SOLVED!!

Hi, My Oculus quest 3 will not connect to my t-mobile wifi. It says "Connected to Device, but cannot connect to internet". I have already talked to my internet provider, and they said its not the wifi. My wifi is good because I use it for 10-15 devices everyday. I have already forgot the wifi, and re connected. I have disconnected and re connected. I have factory reset and nothing works, but I can connect my hotspot and my oculus works perfect. I dont know if it is my wifi or if its the oculus. What do i do next?

    Is it a new device or was your headset connected to wifi before, and now it isn't?

    It does seem that the Quest 3 can see the router but isn’t getting outbound network access which is often a Wi-Fi/router config issue rather than a hardware fault.

    Since your Quest works fine on a hotspot, try:

    • Restarting both the router and the headset
    • Forgetting the Wi-Fi network on the Quest and re-adding it
    • Moving closer to the router / reducing interference
    • Checking your router’s settings (make sure MAC filtering, guest network isolation, and custom DNS aren’t blocking traffic)

    If it still can’t connect to the internet on your T-Mobile Wi-Fi but works on a hotspot, it’s almost certainly something in the router/Wi-Fi setup that the Quest doesn’t like.

    Go into your headset wifi setting for your network and change the Privacy setting from "Use randomized MAC" to "Use device MAC".

    If that doesn't fix it, try disabling QoS (Quality of Service) on the router.

    Lastly, some users have had success after:

    1. connect to the hotspot
    2. restart the headset
    3. connect to your regular wifi

    It may be necessary to repeat those three steps a few times.
