automatic opening of horizon link

Hello, the Meta Horizon Link app I downloaded to my PC works perfectly, but for some reason, the app launches automatically every time I turn on or restart my PC.

Is there a setting to disable this feature?

    🤣🤣🤣 Be happy, others are complaining it won't open at all!! Don't mess with it. Minimise it and leave it there would be my advice! 😁

    There is no direct way to disable it, but if I don't need the app, I simply close it before resetting or shutting down the PC and then it won't launch automatically next time!

        in task manager go to start up apps and disable the app

        Unfortunately, the Task Manager's startup option isn't really helpful since the Meta Link app isn't listed there—that would be too easy, after all :).

        The Meta Link app runs as a service, so the only alternative would be to constantly toggle that service on and off via the Services management console, depending on whether or not you want to use VR.

        With my method, you simply start the Meta Link app manually, enjoy your VR session, and then manually close the app again.

        So, it’s just two mouse clicks; I think that’s the quickest and easiest solution for me right now, and it works perfectly.
