Beat Saber add-ons not sharing on Quest 2

My husband and I have separate accounts and one Oculus Quest 2. I was able to play Beat Saber we purchased on his account using mine. I just bought a music pack add-on with his account. I went into mine and it's asking me to buy it again. I don't understand why I can play the game but not the add-on. It's a family Oculus and if I want to have my own account to track my own progress outside my husband I should be able to. It's not like we can play the same game together since it's the same Oculus.

Looks like some miscommunication occurred, sorry about that ramzoah and kunoichi-chan. The investigation that was previously mentioned was in relation to app sharing which has since been resolved. Content such as DLCs is intended to not be sharable.

EDIT: Disclaimer, this was marked as Accepted Solution to inform others that the DLCs are intended to not be shareable. There is no fix to this as it is not a bug.

Same here! I can take the problem a step further into the "WTH" category. My husband is the primary account holder. I can play Beat Saber on my account, but none of the add-on packs EXCEPT Skrillex. I was able to purchase the Skrillex add-on from my account, but nothing else. When I try to purchase a music pack, it says I must first purchase Beat Saber. Hello, I'm alread playing the game, we own it. Just to see what would happen, I tried to purchase Beat Saber on my account and it says "already installed." What the heck? I can't purchase music packs on my account, and I have to play on my husband's account if I want to play anything other than the default playlists. Except of course, Skrillex. COME ON!

I have the same exact issue it's a family Oculus quest 2 my daughter wanted to beat saber she has her own account separate for mine the game downloaded fine and she was able to play it but not the downloadable content that I spent good money on. This issue needs to be addressed and as soon as possible. I'm curious if it was designed this way or

Same issue here, I'd also accept individual purchase vs family purchase

agreed 100% its too much to ask us to buy the same packs over and over for each user. i think that might be a beatsaber devoloper suggestion. but im not sure. so if i want to play the packs i own i have to have them play on my account. but then i cant play with them on my rift S because it has me logged in already on the quest. -_-

is it possible to get a refund on the DLC packs for those of us who bought them with the intent to use them with our families/kids so we wouldn't have to buy something 3 times, each time, for something that the entire family should be able to use with the initial understanding of the advertising of the app-sharing? This feels completely like a bait & switch sales scam technique.

Fully agree, this seems more like a bug than anything else 😫

I found my way here because I'm having the exact same issue. My husband and I have been going into our settings thinking we're doing something wrong, but looks like this is an issue with the game itself. No alert about this when I purchased the song packs. This is moronic. I guess we'll just play on my account. Disappointed to have to do that since we won't be able to keep our own scores. Definitely not buying any more music packs because of this.

I am dealing with same problem, I bought two music packs yesterday and discovered today that my son can't use the packs in his secondary account. Also, I won't buy more Beat Saber music packs while they don't fix this problem!!!

At first I thought it was just broken but now I’m realizing everybody else has the same problem. My family has 2 oculus headsets and we wanted to play on multiplayer but it won’t let us play the songs we’ve purchased. I absolutely refuse to pay for the songs 6 times so we can all play them on our accounts. What a joke. Maybe I should return all the games I bought and just be done until VR is better because it’s really gonna make me mad if more apps do this kind of thing.
