Bobber Bay shop not working

I've been trying to get the purchase screen in the shop to pop up but have yet to get it to work. I've been playing the game for about a week and have caught most of the fish at Bobber bay but can't access the store to buy anything. Anyone know of a way to get past this? I see it's been an issue for some time now and I know it works for some people.

I get Fin's greeting "Whoa, back so soon!" as well as his stories about the various objects you can pick up. Never called by name. NO STORE. I've danced around in that hut for 10 minutes - approaching the counter from different angles, trying different moving types (teleport, smooth), etc. no store.

Meanwhile someone else came in and Fin greeted them by name and they clicked around - the store worked for them.

I have a quest 2, in Canada. I started trying the game 4 OS updates behind, Horizon World wouldn't even open. I updated one at a time and tried the game each time. After 3 more updates I'm now on the latest version and still no store.

If you haven't already, you can submit feedback within the game to help developers identify and target specific on-going issues.

You can do this by finding the "Leave feedback for creators" section within the game to report bugs or problems.

I put a bug report in game with videos for both bobber bay and gator grotto stores plus they've deleted my gator grotto pass in their latest update of the fishdex/inventory. I've had no acknowledgement they've received it! I'm sorry I don't think they have any intention of sorting these problems out they're just going their merry way updating things without fully testing their changes before they issue the changes and couldn't care less if it works fully or not.

The bug reporting system is pathetic and obviously doesn't work.

I have done multiple bug reports and multiple emails to the Meta store about the issue of not seeing the Buy screen behind the counter. Even on the gator world. I’ve been playing the game for a while and I have a quest 3. Come to find out. It’s gotta be something inside the profile of the person that’s causing it. I have done factory reset, Created new accounts and even put my profile into my friend girls headset to see if she can see it and she cannot. She can stand right beside me in the world and see the screen every time and I can’t see nothing. I’ve done built up 4 million and can’t spend it on nothing. I have caught all my fish with the basic rod and whatever bait I accumulate from catching fish. We both have V81 software and the only thing difference is I have a iPhone running my horizon app and she has an android.

So I got one of my friend girls that has asoftware and the only thing difference is I have a iPhone running my horizon app and she has an android. So I got one of my friend girls that has an android phone to go in on her phone and she cannot see it. Maybe about time they fix it, I will have enough money accumulated to buy the Island and fin with it.

To add to the findings. I do live in the United States, but my friend girls profile is linked to her Facebook and Instagram and mine is not. I emailed the Meta store to ask them if that would make a difference. I don’t know if that affects our profile or not. I have tried everything I could on my part and really got burned out on it. Even changing everything into settings that I can think of. I read somewhere that if the parent Control was turned on that could affect some things in the horizon world but I could have grandkids that can be on here so I know it’s not turned on.

You have to have fishing license level 10. I had this issue for a bit and 24 hours after I reached 10 it popped up for me. But I can't progress past 10 and I really want to lollipop bait at level 15..

Both my 3 and my 2 behave the same. License level worked up to 10 and stopped. The progress bar next to it is empty and never moves despite catching hundreds of fish. Neither the Bay store or the Grotto store display anything to buy. Chatted with a player yesterday and we went to the Bay store. He could see the items for sale. I could not. Seriously strange. Just FYI.

I’ve been playing this now for around a month and have never been able to purchase anything in the shop. There are things to pick up, but I can't buy anything.

I haven’t been able to buy a pass to Gator Grotto, but I still go there anyway without any issues. Can't buy anything at the shop there either.

Been fishing today and can't get any of my catch to register when puting into the bag

Any help would be appreciated

This is going on for a year at least. I think it's permanent at this stage. Nobody seems to bother fixing it.

Maybe there are tutorials/quests that must be completed before you can access certain features. It's been a long time since I played BB, but I remember having to do a lot of quests to allow progression in the game.
