Game Downloads keep cancelling themselves on Quest 3

I just wanted to add to the list 😞   I still cant download this game - im also on a 5g network with THREE

ive had similar issues with smaller downloads (even beat saber tracks inside the game) but a restart of the headset has always allowed me to get the downloads done.  quite frustrated. 

Just some more info from my experiences...

So, interestingly, this issue doesn't seem to be limited to the Quest 3. Today I decided to install the Oculus for Windows app and download some of the oldies I bought when I had the DK2 and CV1. The Oculus for windows app can't download either. Doesn't matter what game or app I try and download. It gets to a certain amount, random number, and then repeats itself, it seems. Eg. The download will get to 78Mb, then drop to 74Mb and creep up to 78Mb but then drop back to 74Mb and keep on doing this add infinitum.

Switch my Nordic VPN on on the laptop and hey presto, the apps download perfectly.

I have spent the better part of 24 hours trying to remedy this situation. Ive tried different networks, closer to router, mobile hotspot, factory reset, etc. I cannot get this game, or any game over a couple gigs, to download. Its like the connection pauses and the download doesnt cache at all, so you cannot resume the download from a point, only restart the download. I have restarted this process 20+ times. The closest it got was 27gb, then right back to lile I never even started it. Would appreciate any assistance on this. 

Just to let everyone know, I tried using a vpn and it didn't work. I tried both a sideloaded vpn and one I set up on my computer. I verified the quest 3 was using the vpn both times by using a whatsmyip site and checking the country of my displayed ip.

I also tried using the free wifi at Starbucks and it also quit and reset back to zero again. (I got a lot of weird looks wearing the hmd and pinching in the air to press buttons...  Zuck, what have you made me become?)

I don't know if it's because I'm in Taiwan. Also, the country I used for the vpn was Japan. What country are other people using?

I spent over $500 on this device and then money on games but my son who screamed with utter joy this morning when he got it for Christmas has not been able to use  it at all. We can’t download a single game! While I appreciate the work arounds there is no reason I should have to mess with trying to run through a VPN. Fix this Meta! 

Same issue. On 4G home modem in Australia. Downloaded some smaller titles ~2GB, but AW that came with Q3 is a no go.

I GOT SOLOUTION but it's not what you expect you might need a stuff animal....yeah first you'll need to got to settings and put you sleep timer on 4hour also put head tracker on 4hours after that start the download and put the head set onto the stuff animal this tricks the head set into thinking you are online the only catch is you must check yhe head set every four hours to make sure it don't go out I know you don't have to believe, e but it works and I feel obligated to help every body you struggle with this is a fix to use until meta get their stuff together
