How do we remove uninstalled apps/games from my library?

How can we remove uninstalled apps or games from the library? For example, Beat Saber demo + full version are installed and I want to remove the uninstalled demo.

There are other apps I want to remove that aren't demos.

Hello! Hope all is well today. Thanks for reaching out in regards to removing apps from your library. Currently, apps are not removable.

However, there is a non installed section. Just hover over an app’s tile in your library and click the three dots in the bottom right corner and you'll see uninstall. This will move the item from the Apps section of your library to the Not Installed section.

This area hosts all the apps that you have purchased or downloaded previously, but are no longer downloaded and installed on your device.

We hope our assistance was beneficial to you!

This is madness! I have been having issues with a couple of apps recently, and in all my research to find a solution I get the same response: "Uninstall and reinstall the app on your headset." Well, that's not going to happen. It's pretty clear to me now that the problem is MetaQuest.

Wow.... I mean c'mon............... you're gonna make me look at Beat Saver demo forever more?! This is quite simply nuts..... I'm assuming this is some kind of Android OS rollover.... gah! You could at least let us hide them completely?!

Nah it doesn't have anything to do with Android.  I don't have to see every app that's not installed on my other Android devices.

There was a "hide" option. Went away as quickly as it came. Like a lot of features regarding the app library.

It is very frustrating that we can no longer hide uninstalled apps. I have a graveyard of uninstalled apps that are cloggging up my uninstalled apps library. I want it to be clear which apps I’ve paid for and uninstalled and which apps were free trials/refunded that I have uninstalled and I no longer play.

META - why can’t we do this anymore? It was an added feature which has now been removed.

I bought a game/app recently and didn't like it at all. Got a refund and it was removed from my App Library so it is possible to remove stuff permanently. There was something leftover that showed up in "Unknown Source" but it went away when I uninstalled it.

Maybe this is happening only for purchased apps. For apps that we download to try and we don't like ,cannot be done

The point is it can be done but Meta doesn't allow it.

Give use back the Hide function at least.

FINALLY!!! This guy (YouTube video) says v72 update allow for removal of uninstalled apps.  Hopefully it doesn't brick anyones device since THAT'S a thing now.   💀

Too bad this wasn't ready so I didn't have to delete my account just so I can remove an app just to be able to use it again..... ridicuous

I am now able to hide my unwanted apps. This is exactly what I wanted. Headset hasn’t died or anything yet!

why "uninstall" is marked as the solution, when it should be "remove"?

stefan.flegel  because.......2022 when the solution was posted the "remove" option wasn't even there😉

Still not a solution, just a compromise.

Not a solution for removing apps, but it was the solution to the question how to remove apps.

At that point the answer was "Currently, apps are not removable."

That's what MetaStoreHelp stated in the solution.
