Hi drizzymoney73647 and kingdrake.257145, welcome to the Community Forums.

If this ban was from within Gorilla Tag, and not from your Meta account, we're unable to assist as this decision is up to the game developers. I would give an attempt with their Support Team to see if they're able to appeal the ban or see if it may have been a mistake.

Hey there my name is yellowGT and I will help you, so first of all he might be using illegal mods or of he is getting spam reported or he might did something wrong with the files

If you go to gorillatagvr.com and click support and then ban appeal, sign in with your account, type your email, and why you should get unbanned they will respond with yes you got unbanned or rejected. I got banned and still am for a week.

I am so sorry this happened to your daughter as well. My son has been false reported multiple times for alleged cheating or use of mods He is on the spectrum and cognitively, would not even know how to do that. I have appealed the band, and they have denied My appeal. There has to be a better system in place for people that are false reporting on kids.

I got banned for cheating because a hacker had the same name as me and they spam reported both of us

My 5 year old son with autism & speech impairment was banned for being "toxic".           Im absolutely furious, A 2 week ban, the appeal accomplished nothing.

To be honest...a 5 year old child shouldn't be playing this game or even wearing a VR headset.

And he didn't even used a child account...otherwise they wouldn't have been able to ban him for toxicity because anything he said and other people could hear would be monkey talk.

%90 percent of the player base is under 13 years old I'd recon but use their parents accounts. The players would be cut in half if your logic was applied...

That's besides the point and doesn't address the issue of unfair bans, please tell me how a 5 year old can be toxic while I clearly observe that he is not ?

And that's a problem, this isn't something that should be practiced, considering the overall policy of Quest devices is restricted to certain ages.

As for the bans, they can occur through mass reporting of other players. At times it may be for fun, or to prevent rule breakage. If you'd like to appeal, we wouldn't be able to assist, but you can reach out to the Gorilla Tag Team by clicking here.

Technically Quest has established a precedent in which they allow & welcome children under 13,10 & under to play the game, they know their demographics and player base. Age restrictions & policy are not enforced, they'd lose millions in profit which is a fact.

So personally & technically,  "policy" is irrelevant to & besides GT's claim or my concern.

I asked GT "How can a 5 year old with autism that can only speak gibberish & inarticulate word salad be toxic whilst supervised  closely"?GT's Response - After manual review the ban will not be lifted.

They don't actually care about details in an appeal, they adhere to their formulas and algorithms only.

That's not correct.
Not 10 years and under, but 10-12 years children.

Maybe GT do not lifted the ban BECAUSE your son is only 5 years old.

My 8yo little girl was just banned for being "toxic".  Don't get me wrong, she was being annoying like only an 8yo little girl can be; repeatedly calling someone and asking if they wanted to play gorilla on the shelf.  This is not, however, toxic nor is it against the rules and if I need to make her not be so annoying while playing then I will do so but I already try and ... 8yo girl... y'know?

Hi Anonymous

You must appeal to Gorilla Tag, it's not a ban from Meta
