Ok, this is not about Arizona Sunshine. I know a lot of people are experiencing low memory crashes. It's not the game. It's Meta updates. I was considering buying a different game I really want and noticed a lot of people talking about low memory crashes. I wrote to the developer as he had not responded to any complaints in the reviews. It's because Meta told him not to respond . He told me that Meta updates has broken their game and he was honest enough to advise me not to buy the game yet. I appreciated that. I won't name the company or the game in case they suffer repercussions. Don't immediately blame the game developers for memory leakage, crashes etc. There is a high probability that Meta is causing the problem with low quality updates. I do hope to buy this game, it was next on my list. I don't like how this looks, where hard working developers are being silenced about the reasons for crashes.Here is an excerpt from the last email from the developer. It gives you an idea of what

SOLVED: I went into the Cloud Backup settings in the headset and selected all apps and forced a manual backup, and hey presto, my library no longer hallucinates that all my apps have an "update available".So I just took a peek in my Quest 3 library today to see if there were any app updates. To my horror, practically ALL my apps (including Meta's apps) have appeared under the "Update available" icon. That is really strange, as I know some of these apps have not had any new updates released yet! I clicked on the download icon for one of the apps, and a message appeared: "something went wrong Unknown (8)". My headset seems to be working fine despite this issue, and my apps and games are currently working. Hi All,Since I updated arizona sunshine 2 I now get low memory error and it crashes. I noticed during the update that I had to delete some programs because the app has gone from 12.5 gb to 25gb. Was there a high texture pack upgrade? Because it looks like the quest 3 can't handle it.Please advise how to roll back so I can finally finish this awesome game.Awaiting your reply.

I have no interest in Horizons. If I could disable it via adb I could, but I tried that and the app is protected. I have never opened any of these worlds, I never "installed" them yet they're blended in confusingly with actual installed apps. Considering there's a separate tab specifically for Horizon worlds, I consider these worlds showing in the normal apps list a bug that should be changed, and I hope it is not some feature to try to promote Horizons. And it's pretty easy to tell when a world is in the apps list because it cannot be hidden, removed, or uninstalled. This is spammy and unprofessional of the Meta platform as a whole. Edit: I may have been in the "all" tab instead of "applications," checking now the applications tab only shows installed apps. If maybe I wasn't confused, then this might be an actual bug where the applications tab showed the horizons worlds, however I do not fully recall what happened, other than noticing something after opening the horizons app

Hello,I would like to discuss how inconvenient it is to have to uninstall the social media apps from my quest 2 headset. These include Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger. When I purchased my Quest 2, before it was overtaken by Meta, these apps did not come pre-installed. I do not and will never use my Quest Headset for social media. I strictly use it for gaming and work. Every week for several months I have been uninstalling these apps and yet they keep re-installing. Please give users the option to keep social media apps off our headsets. Or communicate that you will never give users this option, so that we can upgrade to a competitor. 

This is a brief tutorial on how to launch games in steam vr and not oculus when oculus forces a game to open in oculus instead of steam vr... pretty simple. This causes issues because you cant use stuff like OVR for streaming in oculus. Here is what you do1: Find games .Exe files-right click-properties-compatibility- (check box) run compatibility mode for (windows 7)- (check box) run this program as administrator2: Go to game library in steam- right click game- properties- General- (launch options)- Write "-openvr"3: Open oculus software4: Launch steam VR (not game just steam VR by itself)5: Launch game from vitual desktop (oculus one or steam vr version)6: Allow game to launch7: Profit 💲💲💲 I cant promise this will work for sure, but it has worked for me 🤷‍:female_sign:

hey so i’ve used a free trial for a game called “Toss” a while ago and decided to purchase the full game a day ago and i’ve gotten an error saying that my free trial has ended for the game and that I need to purchase the full game to play it, when i’ve already bought it. When I click the “Purchase” option it takes me to the “Toss” app store page where it says “Launch” and when I click it I get the error so I’m basically thrown into a loop so I am very confused. I’ve tried clearing my cache, and data on the game and reinstalled it too but the issue is persisting and I’ve used a free trial on another game and have had the same free trial issue. I am very confused on what to do should I refund since I basically got scammed and cannot play the game that I paid for?

Hi I bought my meta quest 2 in 2022 and I had beat saber free as a part of buying my headset. Yesterday I did a factory reset on my headset and now I went to download Beat Saber and it was asking me to actually pay for the game but I had it redeemed. I’m trying to find a way to solve this but can’t find the solution can someone please help me?

I am on build 5092736.7500.340, V79.1030 on the Quest Pro. Meta Horizon Worlds does not work on this build. When starting the app, it initially starts fine, but once it gets past the initial loading screen, it takes me to a blue rectangle on a black background for about 30 seconds, then it loads into the default world but at around 1 frame per 10 seconds. It is just a slideshow, not exaggerating. The actual quest UI and everything else is completely fine and responsive, it's just Horizon Worlds itself doing this. It's super broken on this build. Anyone else got the same issue?I did clear the cache etc too, didn't make a difference.

So, I manage my childs account, and my child wants to buy a game so he sends a request. It costs 20$, so I confirm on my computer that I want to buy it and then it redirects me to meta store, and logs me to my account. Now I dont know if I buy that game on my account, will my child get it on his meta quest? There are no other profiles on that vr, just him. So Im not sure if I buy that will, game it will show up for him.Hoping to get it solved, thanks.

Hello,Not sure if this is already covered but I want to create a pass-thru window when using X-Plane 12 Flight Simulator with the Quest 3 S. I've created a pink shape that is the shape of my window and can project it onto my virtual environment but it is still pink and I want it to be a pass-thru window so I can see my controls in the real world. YouTube videos have lead me to an understanding that this idea is a strong possibility but pink isn't really what I want to see.I'm projecting my 'shape' using OpenKneeboard and its shape, size and position are perfect for what I want. I understand that I now need to manipulate the chromakey of my Quest 3 S to allow me to see through my shape. I'm connected to the pc by a cable in order to overcome x-plane jitters and need to keep the cable connected whilst flying.Can anyone enlighten me how I can achieve the window to replace the pink shape please?Thanks very much

So I was reviewing the code of conduct and it said don’t do anything that could lead to physical harm or something like that. But does that mean combat training isn’t allowed? Or is it referring to things such as active gang violence and other stuff.

How can we remove uninstalled apps or games from the library? For example, Beat Saber demo + full version are installed and I want to remove the uninstalled demo. There are other apps I want to remove that aren't demos.

I enjoy Asgard's Wrath 2, and I have made some progress in both the main quest and the uncharted rifts. However, in the uncharted rifts, I keep getting kicked out the game in the middle of intense battles. When I am reinserted into the  game, I am turned around and attacked before I can grab my weapons.Is there some way to prevent this glitch?

Similar issues. We had to factory reset our Oculus Quest headset. Lost everything. Starting over from scratch. I guess we learned the hard way not to spend ANY MORE MONEY on apps and games and to stick only to the free stuff, as you could lose it all at any time. And to not get too personally invested in anything related to one account. If this happens again we will know not to waste our time but to just start over. There is no recourse. Will be eagerly awaiting a VR gaming competitor that solves for this problem. 

When installing an app, it says that there is not enough memory, even though there is space
