Issue finding game in library

Hello!

Decided to hop back into my Quest 1 after resetting it and found that my old favorite game, Dreadhalls, can no longer be found in the library. Searching some settings like the notifications settings will show options for it, but other than that I cannot find it. Looking on the store it will appear but the option to install or launch doesn’t appear and is replaced with an infinitely loading circle.

The game appears installed on the Meta Horizon app, but attempting to launch it or uninstall it does not appear to change anything on the headset itself. I would appreciate any suggestions, I’m new to the forum!

Maccyb123  He has no Navigator, his menu is different.... he is on Quest 1. πŸ˜‰

There was a thread while ago, where Quest 1 user weren't even able to dowload/update their apps anymore.

They could fix it by creating and adding  a second account to the headset and then enabled app sharing. The secondary account was able to download/update the apps.

I'm not sure, if this can help you too.

Another option - if you have a pc - Dreadhalls is a cross buy game, you can downlad the pcvr version of the game for free and then link your Quest to pc to play it.

FΔ±rst of all thanks. I'd forgotten about this game, now I'm going to get it..

OK, for your situation, o your apps screen, hit the 3 line menu icon on the left, then click on hidden. It might, with luck be lurking in there waiting for you!

Let's know if you found it! Good luck!

Hi Maccyb, glad I could remind you of a classic like Dreadhalls!

As for the fix, I can’t seem to find a hidden items menu, and for me the menu icon within the apps is on the right. Still cannot get it to appear! I’ll definitely peruse my settings a bit longer and comb through it more thoroughly.

@Choleni @God_Awful_Pidgeon I downloaded now on the Quest 3s and started playing. After a little discount my curiosity cost me $8.99 πŸ˜‚ It's downloadable for me and working perfectly. So, there it looks like there's something not right with the Quest 1 download. Again, thanks God_Awful_Pidgeon.

Refund it, if you don't like it..... I guess you haven't played more than 2 hours yet?πŸ˜‰

Choleni It's actually pretty good! It's the type of game I enjoy and has a real nostalgic feel about it. I think I might have played a short demo years ago when I had the Gear VR for a while! Will definitely keep it 😁
