My oculus quest 2 won’t download games

Games that won't install after you buy them can definitely be worrisome, so let's see what we can do to help out! If it won't install from your library, try opening up the game in the store, to see if you can prompt it to download that way. Make sure your headset has enough space to download and unpack the game files. Typically, it's best to have double the space of the game available. If the game is 3gb, make sure you have 6gb, for example.

If that doesn't work, we recommend restarting your router, and reconnecting your Wi-Fi in the headset after it reboots. If it still shoots back the install failed error, you may need to factory reset the headset, which will wipe it back to default settings. You'll need to re-setup the headset via the mobile app, and all of your games/apps will be available for re-install after signing in again. If you do end up needing to factory reset, be sure to backup your save files to the Oculus Cloud using the Cloud Backup feature.

This is a recurring issue that as far as my research has shown, is only resolved by doing a full factory reset. This has happened to me 3 times, always after a big update. Clearly, this is an issue with the quest UI that the tech team is unable or unwilling to fix.

Resetting our headsets, re-downloading all our games, loosing any save data that isn't uploaded to the cloud and loosing any recordings or etc. that haven't been backed up is kind of a huge annoyance.

Same thing with mine. I spent a lot of money on this crap. And none of them will install anymore. Plus Netflix does not work anymore. I've true reinstalling but nope. And how do I ensure the cloud has them to do a factory reset. This blows.

I fixed this issue for myself by going in to the file destinations and finding folders where the games were attempting to be installed and deleting what appeared to be partially installed files. Hope it helps 

I GOT SOLOUTION but it's not what you expect you might need a stuff animal....yeah first you'll need to got to settings and put you sleep timer on 4hour also put head tracker on 4hours after that start the download and put the head set onto the stuff animal this tricks the head set into thinking you are online the only catch is you must check yhe head set every four hours to make sure it don't go out I know you don't have to believe, e but it works and I feel obligated to help every body you struggle with this is a fix to use until meta get their stuff together but this is for people with no vpn

Same here... Almost... I tried to turn on my headset one day and it said "ShellEnv keeps stopping." and then automatically restarting only to do it again. Then, after I factory reset my headset, I try to download a game, and it just... Doesn't. I press download, it seems normal, but as soon as it's about to start downloading, it just stops. It cancels itself. I really don't know what to do because no matter where I look, no one seems to be having the same problem as me.
