PTC v79 Third Party apps not resizable

Hi, i updated to Version 79 and since then, im not able to resize any third party app. If i try to grab the corner i am only able to move the window instead of resize.

Im still not navigator.

      I turned off updates after the Chromecast issue, but my system updated anyway. Now I can't resize apps either. Please add my request to restore this feature to the others'.

      Folks and Meta, has anyone heard anything on this, or is this just blatantly and irresponsibly ignored and broken for good?  I've been on my Quest very few times since they broke it with v79.031 and I haven't seen a change.  I saw some little update leading up to v79.038 or something insignificant like that, but no fix to this.  I've lasted an average of about 3 minutes each session and I've shut it off and literally tossed it out of my hands.  I used to use this device for hours almost daily!!!  I was ready to ditch my laptop, tablet and my main PC. What a huge false promise and disappointment!!!

      I've never heard from META (after so many submittals of 'trouble reports')- not ONCE!!!!!!!!!!!! Futile waste of energy and effort.  I lost $500+ to a piece of crap sitting in the corner of my basement. Every time I see an opportunity to grab my Quest bag and confidently go (to work at some outdoor spot) I get so down right pissed off!

      I raved so much about this "kiddy toy" of a Quest 3 and even convinced several people to go buy one and now I have no words.  I personally bought 3 Quests for my friends for professional use - how truly embarrassing.

      The device is plenty capable and truly amazing, if they would leave it the f*@^k alone!!!  ...and I can understand a few weeks of things not working, while a package is pushed out to try some improvement, but we're coming up on more than 5 months for such a fundamental function to just be ignored!

      This feels like Meta is lying to us selling us a gimmick with no support or responsibility!  In less than a year my product doesn't work as designed and no word from Meta? Are they so tacky and simple that they are scamming us for $500 bucks, really?

      Hello there, in comunnity messages is one that says that update v81 fixes everything. You get v81 and the third party apps become resizable again. Look if you are able to go to the public test channel to get the update faster then others. You can always wait until the update comes.

      Thank you, Tobias.  The PT channel is full and has been since I factory reset my headset several months ago (in my effort to try and fix this issue).  I have not been able to get back on that list.  I also saw (in this forum) that there was a v81, but that was also several months ago (when I saw the first talks about that update).  I've been looking for it on my headset like a car out of gas sucking on fumes!  I just learned that the update has been officially released on October 6th and that it takes time (weeks) to roll it out to all of us.  I'm so frustrated, but I appreciate you responding.  I only wish Meta would be as responsible and responsive!!!

      My goodness, there is a heaven.  V81 FINALLY installed and my headset is somewhat back to normal, today.  Not all windows are resizable (as before), but the important ones are - third party and native.  The headset is usable again, OMG FINALLY.

      Now, with this same sentiment of joy comes skepticism.  How long will functionality last and what will be next to wipe the headset out and for how long will we be down?  I hate to sound like an ingrate, but Meta worked for months on creating this "ugly."  Things are NOT the same!

      I'll take the fix, I'll use the headset for a bit and we'll see with time, but I can't say this enough.  Yes, the fix came in (albeit 5+ months later) ...so thanks, but know that I am beyond unhappy due to the lack of respect towards us.  I think I speak for the majority of the  community!

      Has it occurred to any of the Meta developers that a roll-back option is necessary, if they're going to roll out experimental or half-baked versions of the O/S?  Does Meta know that some of us are willing to take this serious.  Is Meta going to do the same?
