Quest 3 Controllers are not aligned in game?

I hope you guys are still working on this. There is even reviews on Amazon for pistol grips that show the problem. (Tyasoleil Handle). It makes holding the controller so uncomfortable. Please, this has to be such an easy software fix.

I'm not sure what happened, I saw there is an update (V60), so I turned on my Quest to check, it says no update available, I'm on V59. So I turned it off and I get a prompt to keep them connected to the Wifi and keep them charged, there is an update in progress. I wait for the update to finish, turn them back on and I'm still on V59. I check the controller alignment, and it seems fine?! So something updated and now it seems to work. Thanks? Not sure what updated though.

also updated to v60 just now and i dont wanna get too excited, but it seems the issue is gone.

I have just tried like 5 minutes of Alyx though, will do some more testing later today.

v60 also updated the controller, so there is hope 😄

Hi, is there anyway Meta support can tell us when European V60 will be rolled out.? Still not seen a version update on my quest 3, therefore I cannot confirm or check if issue is fixed. Thanks,

FYI, checked Meta for release notes, selected v60 release notes, but only have 24 October release notes updated on your website.

Hi, i have now updated to v60, however, the controller is still an issue on Quest3. I have reset the controller in the settings menu, but still the same issue.

i would be interested in know if Zinc719 and Der grimmie are still ok.

I read the update notes for v60 and there is no mention of controller update, therefore it’s not been addressed.

Meta support, please give an update on whether a y thing is being done.

Yesterday it updated to V60, controllers got an update too, alignment is still fine. But I honestly don't understand why we can't just calibrate that ourselves in the settings.

I would be very interested in knowing anyone who plays Onward on Quest 3 sees that v60 has fixed the issue.

I have also unpaired and pair both controllers and the still both point more outwards than the Q2 controllers.

V60 did definetly not soilve the issue, gun is still pointing outwards 15-20 degrees, game tested was Zero Caliber.

Why is this marked "solved" its not solved, its a shambles. v59, v60 controller updates, nothing changes.

Struggling to setup new fresh post.

I think sometimes when IT or support close/mark Solved in their system, it’s hard for them to un mark as solved and remark as unsolved. I’m guessing that’s why support are not responding.

Can some else try and setup a new ticket? Or we will have to wait. OR CAN META SUPPORT REPLY.

As per the issue titled "Quest 3 Controllers are not aligned in game?" which has been makred solved but is not.

The controllers are not aligned in games. Sweeping generalization: All old games are wrong all new games are ok.

Vader immortal episode 1 is an easy one to check because it loads fast and the gauntlets are ridiculously offset from your actual wrist.

Hey JadelDXB. Having any issues with your controller is never the experience we have intended for any of our users to have. Just to ensure we are on the same page, can you provide us with the troubleshooting steps you have already tried? Also, are you using third-party apps? Also, have you gotten in contact with the developer of those games for any updates they may have available?

Hi there, I am still having this issue with my Quest 3. I spoke with technical support and they had me do everything from restarting the headset, restoring the factory software and reinstall software, joystick calibration, reconnecting the controllers, removing the battery, and they concluded it was a hardware issue so they've replaced my unit. I just received the replacement and I'm going through the exact same issue. It's an alignment issue. Is meta going to update the software to allow users to calibrate their controllers to find center?
