Quest 3 pausing and going to menu during Beat Saber.

Quest 3 pausing and going to menu during Beat Saber. My thumbs are nowhere near the buttons. It happens randomly during songs and boots me from a match if I'm playing online. It destroys any immersion and kinda ruins the song. Anyone had this issue?

Try this or putting tape over proximity filter.

    Hey there LBENIS,

Thanks for reaching out regarding the issue you've been facing with Beat Saber. We recommend testing out other apps and games to see if this is a general issue with your device as a whole or if it's strictly a Beat Saber problem.

There are a few troubleshooting steps we recommend trying that may solve this for you:

    Hard reboot the headset

    - Hold down the power button and volume down button for 30 seconds until you hear the boot-up sound.

If the boot-up sound is not heard:

    - Hold the power and volume (-) button down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.

    - Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight "Boot Device" and press the power button.

    - Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.

It may also be worth checking your controllers too incase the headset is detecting some unintended input:

Clean the controller with a non-abrasive anti-bacterial wipe (No alcohol).

    - Compressed air can be used to remove debris inside the controller.

Remove unsupported third-party accessories that may affect button motion or controller detection.

    - For example: controller covers, controller attachments, etc.

Remove the battery from the controller for 30 seconds.

    - Try a new battery.

Unpair and pair the controller to your headset.

Since I've had the same problem and not find an answer anywhere I ran some test and think I can confirm the random pauses from BeatSaber are due to too high graphics/refresh rate settings.

Obviously this is an old post, but it's the one I ran into when I looked for help myself, so if this can help someone else later, I'll have done good. Good luck all
