Remote Desktop App Will Not Enlarge My Main Monitor After Recent Update
Since the most recent update, I have been experiencing an issue with the Meta Quest Remote Desktop app.
I use two monitors on my PC. Before the update, when I connected to my PC with my Quest 3, I was able to choose which monitor I wanted to enlarge. I usually enlarged the monitor that Windows identifies as Display 1.
Since the update, whenever I try to enlarge Display 1, the Remote Desktop app keeps switching to my second monitor instead. When this happens, it also seems to force the apps from both screens together, making the desktop difficult to use.
This was not happening before the latest update, and I have not been able to find a setting that fixes it.
So far, I have tried clearing the app cache, but that did not resolve the issue. I have also noticed occasional screen flickering since the update.
Has anyone else run into this issue with a Quest 3, the Remote Desktop app, and a dual-monitor PC setup? Is there a setting or workaround that can force Remote Desktop to correctly recognize and enlarge Display 1?
