Stuck at checkout

I have been trying to spend Meta Credits on avatar clothes for the past month or so.
Any time I get to the checkout menu and try to purchase, the processing wheel just spins infinitely. I have let it go for more than 30 minutes and still the purchase never completes.

I always just cancel and move on to revisit later thinking maybe its just a server error that will be resolved later.

I have tried many times and it is still doing this. Any chance someone can resolve this?
