I don't have "more setting" button to enable "developer mode"

Hi,

I tried to find the "more setting" option so i could turn on the "developer mode" option.
But i don't have it.

I am using Galaxy S9 plus as a mobile device.
Oculus quest as VR device.

And there is no such option as "more settings".

Someone can help me figure it out?

Thanks.

Please update your Oculus app to the latest version, as this issue has been fixed: https://forums.oculusvr.com/t5/General-Development/Developer-Mode-Issues-Update/m-p/892227#M2012

If you need immediate help or want additional support/context on an issue you are having with our platform or integrations: 1. Use the same WiFi for phone and Quest

For me, the problem was fixed once both were connected to the same wifi. (It didn't work when my phone was on the regular wifi and the Oculus was on the 5G)

as Pittcanna says, you now need to be a developer. (Make your oculus account a developer account, then make an organization within your developer account.  And have a way to verify, phone # or credit card... i'd choose phone #)  I'm not sure when that became a requirement (I know id didn't used to be.)

I had been struggling with this as well.  The second I created an organization and verified, the developer option showed up on the app.  (now says "developer mode" instead of "more options" under the controller option)

Hope this helped (the link pittcanna provided was what I needed, I gave kudos for it)

I just had this problem, the way I was able to fix it was under "Device" in the app, once you make sure the oculus is connected, scroll down and click the wifi, connect the wifi to the same on your phone. Once you connect the wifi, you should be able to see "Developer Mode" 3 rows down under "Phone Notification" like in my case. Hopes this helps.

Hope we all face the issue when we create a new Facebook account for oculus. Till you add a phone number or a creditcard. The account wont be developer enabled. Add one of those and automatically you will see developer mode button in the app. Go inside that and enable it. Now connect a cable and inside the VR headset you will be prompt for Allow USB and Allow computer. Hope this helps!
