I live in Vermont, US. I know that feeling. We just got 19 inches dumped on us over the last two days. Its always funny because you hear if say Florida gets some light dust the entire place closes down while im driving to work with 2 inches on the roads, the towns run out of salt and you cant even see the roads or the lines. all the drivers just assume we are in the right spot.
Gotta love 4 wheel drive. Its silly when i see out-of-staters with nice fancy 2 wheel (even better when its front) drive and they are going ~20 mph and I go by them burning ~45-50. They look at me like Im playing a game of "Chicken" with Death himself
I have vivid memories (nightmares) of my stepmother preparing cow's tongue. First boiling it for hours then she peeled the skin off... sloooooooowly. Ugh. I never tasted it.
Also, Smalahove.
That's a sheep's head. Norwegian cuisine, world's finest!
