Aliens - Fact Or Fiction..?

Well we've had a time travel thread so I thought we should have an aliens thread too.

I believe that aliens have visited and are visiting our planet. Now I don't think that there are aliens that are living here and impersonating humans, but I certainly believe that at least SOME of these UFOs captured on film and seen by people are alien spacecraft.

How am I reasoning this? Pretty simple. There have simply been too many technological leaps since the 50s to make it not being true. Just have a think about it:

  1. Integrated circuits and microchips.
  2. Credit cards and bank cards.
  3. Cassette tapes, CDs, DVDs, Blu-Rays.
  4. Kevlar
  5. Lasers
  6. Stealth bombers
  7. The Oculus Rift lol
  8. Velcro.
  9. Quantum Computers.
And then have a look back through time and you have the Pyramids, Mayan astronomy and cities, Stonehenge, the Inca's Machu Picchu and Teotihuacán in Mexico.

A great deal of these UFO sightings are around air bases so a good percentage of them can be put down to experimental aircraft, but ALL of them?

The truth is out there. Trust no one.

    Most comments believe it's refraction caused by a vehicle that was reversing (and had its lights on). but it does look pretty spooky!

    I'm convinced they're out there, and they MIGHT even look exactly like us...

    I've just started watching the remake of Invasion Of The Bodysnatchers and this sort of sci-fi certainly makes you think lol

    Well we've only got 9 years to wait for confirmation if Noah The Time Traveller is to be believed.

    Well, at least one person from Harvard agrees with snowdog. Things are heated up in Martian Land!!

    I think there is "alien" (at least alien to us) life out there, in the vastness of space. And I think there's the real possibility that some of it was intelligent. But is it still out there? Or has it happened yet? I don't know.. Space is, in literally universal terms, astronomical. The brief time "we've" been intelligent is the tiniest fraction of time related to the universe as a whole. And we'll most likely be gone before anyone.. anywhere else.. could have noticed we're here. Even our space junk, and anything we could have made, or will.. may already be gone.

    Plus, even if we saw proof of alien life light years away.. we'd never get there.. and by the time we did.. there's a good chance the civilization would be looong gone. I mean.. really.. america has been around a mere ~230 years.. and not sure if we haven't already extunk (is that even a word? extinct.. extank.. extunk.. yep) ourselves out of existence.
