Question

Anon (movie)

Anon - An excellent movie that although is kinda science fiction it still raises a lot of current online privacy concerns (IMHO) and also maybe a glimpse into the not too distant future of things like Google glasses and mixed reality (?).
Anyways...a recommended watch.
Oh...and an excellent quote at the end of the movie..."It's not that I have anything to hide...It's just that I have nothing I want you to see"

Some of the Netlix Original stuff is excellent. I'm planning on watching that at some point.

It's a Sky TV original mate, released simultaneously on the 11th at the cinema and on Sky Premiere. Looking forward to this one. (Well that's what Sky are advertising it as on my Sky Q ;) )

I loved this movie. I watched it in my Oculus GO!

It leans more towards the whole "mixed reality" concept since it depicts both AR and VR in ways I must admit I never really considered. It also gave me some cool App ideas lol

I seem to remember seeing or reading something about Google developing some glasses that were supposed to do something similar like showing info on what you were looking at etc...I don't know if the idea ever took off.

Having watched the movie, I can say that there are no spoilers in this thread. Also, if you don't want spoilers about a movie, then you may not want to enter a thread that talks about it.

Your post reminds me of an interesting phenomenon happening on the Internet. People will go on YouTube and watch a video that has "spoilers" in the title and still complain in the comment section about spoilers. People will go on Facebook and read a Thread on a Group Page that is dedicated to a Show, and then complain about Spoilers. I remember this was huge with the Walking Dead last year. The Admin's had to constantly put up warnings every day leading up to a new show, yet people still complained. In the end the Admin's had to change the group description in such a way where Spoilers are the norm, and warnings are no longer required. Then they told people that if they don't want spoilers to leave.

No offense to you personally, but I do not get why people intentionally read something about a Movie or Show and expect that the content refrain from any spoilers. Just stay away from all content until you've watched it.

In my case, it took me around 10 days to watch Infinity War. So I intentionally avoided Facebook, Twitter, and any other outlet that may even leak a spoiler. It's not just what people might "say," it's also the meme's! I've seen meme's that are huge spoilers based on their contextual meaning.

If someone doesn't want spoilers, stay offline. For reals. And if you can't stay offline, don't click on related stuff n' thaangs.
