Question

Are old headsets worth it ?

I was thinking of buying something like an oculus rift or meta quest 2 second hand, I’m not trying to play some crazy games just the basics, gorn, super hot, etc. would they still be worth it or would they age out quickly ? Thanks

revalako1  If all you can afford is to buy used, a Q2 is probably ok.  Much more versatile than the older Rift cv1 and Rift s.

That's a great post, and your thought process is quite logical! The Oculus Rift and Meta Quest 2 are still excellent options for casual gaming, especially for titles like Gorn and Superhot. Even as newer models are released, these headsets remain reliable for their quality and functionality. If you’re buying second-hand, just ensure the device is in good condition to get the best experience.

    YES, it's worth it.
We have the Oculus 2 & 3 here and use both.
The Oculus 2 is still an excellent piece of hardware.
