Question

Dam Microsoft

Was playing a game today on windows 10 { Empyrion - Galactic Survival }  and all of a sudden a little window pops up to ask if I want to try Ms Office, Is there anything in the settings that I can stop this or it just a case of put up with it.

    Settings/Notifications, you can set your preferences. I'm not sure if this would fall under Store notifications? I have them all turned on except Microsoft Insider Hub (turned it off when I got a notification about preview builds that I'm not interested in), and I never get pop-up notifications for stuff like that. Then again, I get a lot less crap from MS because I use a local account rather than a Microsoft account.

    In the "Notifications from Senders" section, you can click on them to drill down to more detail about notification rules (banners, sounds, priority level, etc.).

    You can also uninstall "Get Office" by right-clicking it in the Start/All Apps menu.

    The uninstall option in the apps menu seem to work,  And Zenbane if Mr office got married that would be Mrs not Ms LOL

    So then I guess Mr. Office had gender reassignment surgery.

    Wait a minute--dude, did you just assume Office's gender?! TRIGGERED!

    Yeah I know. I was going to say, "I didn't know Mr. Office got divorced." But it seemed less funny for some reason. I take the laughs however I can get 'em! :*
