I spent only the cost of the rift $670ish and the cost of a new gpu ($270) to throw in my few years old 400$ walmart pc I was starting to neglect. Couldn't spend 3k$ on this if I wanted to, wife would literally have killed me. The fact that it was under 1k$ is the ONLY reason I've been rifting for months. :wink:

I like my over the ear headphones and I think they have very good sound and clarity.  Besides we wear earphones all the time w/ our cell phones now a days, so why would you want to ALWAYS put crap in your ears?  Its a nice change in my book.
