Question

Have you ever rifted, man? Have you ever rifted....on WEED?

Not sure how many of you remember that classic scene from half baked. I thought this might be an interesting topic. Just by numbers, there have to be a few people out there with rifts now that indulge. Just wanted to know if anyone has experimented yet. Cyberreality, not sure if this needs to be nsfw or if the topic is allowed or if anyone has covered it yet.

There is another thread discussing VR treatment for stroke victims. As it turns out, weed has been found benificial for treating strokes as well. Now that makes me wonder how effective for stroke victims the combination of weed and VR can be:

Weed definitely enhances most things like music, films and games. I don't see any reason why that won't be the same with the rift. I can't wait to get baked and get lost inside the rift.

There is also a new "fork" thread discussing the same topics as this original thread:

It too contains some interesting content, and it has a more "professional sounding" title.

Someone get Dave Chappelle, Bob Saget, or Jon Stewart to try the Rift. That's 100K views on Youtube easy!

i think its best not to do it while under the influence you can forget that you actually have a headset on and try to stand up or something and risk falling or breaking the Rift. I think the Rift is a pretty awesome experence on its on and honestly in my opinion if you gotta get "high" to experience something then you may have a problem.

If the immersion is so high you forget you are wearing a Rift, that sounds like a positive endorsement for immersion enhancing experiments to me. :o

Is that from experience, or just unsubstantiated conjecture?

For anyone wondering what the words in the thread title mean, it's a reference to Jon Stewart's scene in the stoner movie Half Baked.

I'm surprised that no one has actually posted the clip itself. Here it is:

And for fun, here's an additional clip of Gandalf smoking the finest weed.

This is speculative, judgemental, and presumptuous.
