Hello everyone, I hope you're all having a wonderful day! Today, I'd like to delve into a fascinating topic that intertwines technology and education: Meta (formerly known as Facebook) and school internet filtering software. Both these elements play a significant role in our digital lives, so let's take this opportunity to share our experiences and insights on how they intersect in the context of schools. To begin, let's talk about Meta, the social media giant that has undergone a rebranding. As we all know, Meta offers a range of platforms and services that have become deeply ingrained in our social fabric. With recent updates and advancements, Meta is aiming to redefine how we interact with each other and the digital world. Considering the pervasiveness of Meta's platforms, I'm curious to know how your school or educational institution approaches the use of Meta within its internet filtering policies. Are Meta platforms entirely blocked or partially accessible? What are the reasons b

Why do all new VR Forum posts now only show ones from the Get Help section?  This used to show all recent other VR Forum sections. Edit;  Ok, looks like other VR Forum subsections are now showing up, lol!

hi

So we're just finishing off a brilliant long weekend of celebration here in Britain.  Hopefully some of our international friends got to join in. I was wondering as I watched the actual coronation - would they be filming in 8K and downscaling it to us all?  I hope so because I'd love to watch it all again in years to come and if I could watch it in glorious 8K HDR etc that would be great. Do you think it's worth filming these historic events in 3D? Obviously enthusiasts will film in many different formats but big media organisations - are they just filming in standard 4K?

I’m so sad

Found it at an estate sale. Plastic Meta Box with lid and Plastic eating utensils.  Looked all over using Google searches to see if I could identify when or why Meta made them.  Couldn't  find anything at all. Maybe someone can shed some light.  Not being offered in the Meta store.

Hey hey! Just making this thread for food you love or favorite plates!  My favorite is Calabacitas this is squash with chopped tomato 🍅, onion , cilantro, corn 🌽and lastly queso fresco (fresh cheese). My family is from Veracruz, Mexico and this is a typical plate we make as a family. I love love love love this!  This is a meal I would eat with my mom and sister growing up on cold days! While watching La rosa de Guadalupe as this is a common novela that comes out in the TV. We never missed eating this with a cup of agua fresca de Jamaica.  Don't we all miss those times where it was easier ❤️ But it is part of growing up.  I love to hear everyone else's favorite food and what it reminds you off!

I love animals and wanted to create a thread where everyone can share pictures of their loved ones 😄 Here are my two dogs! Monk is the big one on the left, Raisin is the small one on the right. And yes, she awkwardly sits like this all the time.

Hi, I am a PhD student at Osaka University and currently applying for internship positions at meta. As long as I know, if somebody who already works at meta would give me a referral, there are higher chances that I can proceed to the next level.I would like to ask, could somebody contact me and give the referral (if you think I am elligible?) I can send my CV with private message or email. Thanks a lot in advance

For the sake of argument when reading this thread please take it as read that reincarnation does indeed exist even if you don't believe it yourself. This is meant as a fun bit of discussion rather than delving into the murky waters of religion. For me there are two possibilities that I'd like to see happening once I've snuffed it:1) A tiger. Tigers are absolutely beautiful creatures and it would be nice for me to come back as something that's good looking rather than the ugly bugger I am now.2) A cow. Yes, that's right. A cow. Remember there's ALWAYS method to my madness. Why a cow? It's pretty pbvious, you crazy fools. I want to be a cow because then after I've been turned into burgers or sausages my skin will then be turned into leather which means that I would become @vannagirl's bicycle seat/leather trousers/leather skirt. I'd happily become burger meat to get close to @vannagirl's bum without her getting another restraining order. B) So what about you guys and girls..? :D :D :D :D
