I just got a Samsung Qled 4k television today and the first thing I wanted to do was to play my games in 4k obviously. I went into the Nvidia setting but I can only set the resolotion to 1920 x 1080? Also when I go into the setting of a game I can only go to 1920 x 1080p? How on earth do you play games in 4k LoL? I really have no idea how to do this. Cheers!
Hey guys, just thought I'd let you know, apparently Sky Sports are added the fight to YouTube today for free at 2:30pm.I've already seen the fight but for anyone who hasn't I thought I'd let you know.=============Spoilers reading forward if you don't want to know the result don't read past this line============So I just wanted to talk about what happened in the fight and the result:Apparently AJ didn't feel right in the locker room before the fight and didn't feel right all week. Many boxing trainers, coaches and fighters are saying he had all the signs of concussion such as fatigue, dizziness, Nausea, vomiting, disorientated etc. There's rumoured he got knocked out in training a week before and that's what caused it.Soon as the fight finished AJ's dad turned to Eddie Hearn and went mental at him, if the rumours are to be believed then presumably for pressuring his son to fight when he wasn't healthy. All I can say is, he definitely didn't look right to me, it was his worst performance I
Well, hopefully soon you will have a useful idea of whether it's viable - and if it is, a good guide on how best to achieve it.Koroush Ghazi runs the TweakGuides site - one I've been using for info and whose guides I have purchased in the past 14 years or more(though he does free versions, too) and is a guy I trust about what's what in the realm of operating systems and gaming optimisation. At the top here, is his latest post....http://www.tweakguides.com/Hopefully, all will go well and we will have as good a guide as his past ones, on how best to make the switch. I've made Linux O/S DVDs in the past, but never had all the info I need, or not been able to collate everything, to make an informed decision about whether it's a good idea to change, and then how to go about it in the best way. So I'm really pleased about this - and hope it goes well for Koroush, so he can help the rest of us.If a decent competitor to Windows were to suddenly appear on the Market, I am convinced that MS would
Hi, my name is Mike, and I've been active on these forums for a little over a year. I like to write; mostly Young Adult fiction, and the next project I have percolating in my head is a YA novel set 15 years into our future, and has a lot of augmented/virtual reality in it. (The short synopsis is: Wealthy kid travels across dytsopian America to find out whether the girl he's been secretly talking to/giving money to via VR is actually a real girl, or just a money making scam) I really don't like the way that sounds, but I'd need a wall of text to explain what's in my head right now.So, I'm putting this topic here because any time I might have a technical question, I'd rather get the answers from real people, rather than look it up on the internet. Also, I'd like to put excerpts up here for anyone interested, or maybe some would want me to send them in progress chapters, if wanted. Let me know. This is my author page on Amazon if you want to check me out - http://www.amazon.com/Micha
Oculus would've loved to have these...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9A9u-lwjTs
Here's my thoughts on all the new tech which could come together and ultimately explode into our lives!1. Having Avatars added in LIVE CAMSBound to happen with the advent of 5G (1gbps speeds) with CCTV which could become 4K surrounds of Public areas. Not to Spy on but to mingle with Real Life as a known areas e.g. Stadiums/Concerts/Tracks/Cinemas etc. OR even other safe areas such as Shopping Malls or Market Places. Perhaps including a seat view of Racing Cars. This is so possible and need not infringe on the public's privacy as it is after all in public!2. Taking control of Drones from anywhere in the world by hire and Return Home features to Shop for recovery. They have a limited flight time anyways and so could easily occupy Deserts for controlled air-space. Again it can happen but there will be latency until they use good connections. We all manage to game together so it can't be so bad a lag.3. AI to enter into VR. We have the possibility to all tap into the new advances of AI e.g
I've always set 2D games or VR games to Normal mode if there's an option for difficulty, but I just wondered if anyone uses hard mode to begin with? I can't play through a game once again once I've finished it and I don't know if selecting normal is the best way to play a game. Do you reckon a game should be played on hard to begin with or is hard mode just there for if you want to play the game again?I've always wondered what difficulty level the game devs expect you to play on when it's a new game.
Because this is just so weird and wonderful I wanted to post this here to get some opinions.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piIgkJWDuQg
Just done a bit of shopping, sat down and a few stops later an Eastern European woman with a sling sat next to me. I felt something touching my jacket pocket and saw her hand retreating away from my pocket under the sling (her left hand was in the sling and her right hand was under it using the sling to cover up what she was doing). She saw that I noticed what she was trying to do and stopped but she kept on wiping her fingers of her right hand on her sling.I then remembered that I had blown my nose on a bit of bog roll before I got on the bus and it was full of snot, sitting in the pocket she had tried to pick.Serves her fucking right lmfao :D :D :D

Chris Roberts has done pretty much the same thing with Star Citizen that he did previously with Freelancer - poor project management and biting off more than he and his developers can chew. The development of Elite Dangerous has made MUCH more sense. Start off with a basic amount of ships and a base game, release a full playable RC version and gradually update and add features to it.Roberts hasn't even completed ONE star system ffs :D
For the past week or so I've been experiencing little glitches when coming to the Forum.- Clicking once on anything does nothing, clicking a second time on the same items does what it suppose to.- trying to post anything bring up an error stating 'There was an error performing your request. Please try again', trying a second time and all is fine.- sometimes the page doesn't fully come in and I have to refresh it once or twice.- also, when posting, sometimes a little box appears with the 3 revolving dots and then nothing happens, then I have to go back to the prior page and then forward again to actually try to post. It happened even trying to post this topic. These are just little irritations but I only experience this when coming to Oculus forums and nowhere else.I use Firefox, so I'm wondering if the latest FF update has caused issues with the site.
I'd be okay for a bit but once my insulin runs out I'd be pretty much fucked :(If it wasn't for my diabetes though I'd be fine and would have no problems surviving. I'm a decent shot with either a bow or gun and would have no problems killing other people so that I could live. I can also make a fire too without a problem, and know how to make a battery and a water filter from everyday items. For a battery you just need some nails and copper wire. Bang the nails into the ground and connect the wire to each nail. Boom. There's a battery.A water filter? Easy peasy. Get yourself a bin, some charcoal and some sand. Puncture the bottom of the bin, bang a few holes in it, fill it up with alternating layers of sand and charcoal. Boom. Water filter. That last one will probably save your life once the zombies/bombs start appearing, if you're out there and you see any insulin please feel free to drop some off to me to return the favour B) :D
In light of the Notre Dame Church that had a HUGE fire on April 15th 2019, Ubisoft has decided to give away free copies of Assassins Creed Unity for PC so that you can explore the Notre Dame Church in all it's glory.https://www.overclock3d.net/news/software/ubisoft_offers_pc_gamers_free_copies_of_assassin_s_creed_unity_in_aftermath_of_notre_dame_blaze/1Direct Link : https://news.ubisoft.com/en-us/article/348227/supporting-notre-dame-de-parisIt's very sad that this happened. It will take an estimate of SIX YEARS to repair and a LOT of history has been destroyed. :(

It felt wrong to make a post about TVs and Blu-ray players in the threads about TV shows or the thread about films/movies, maybe it's better to make a new thread where we can discuss hardware aspects of TVs and Blu-ray players. I'd be happy to start with some spring cleaning o:) I've been wondering how to clean my new Sony TV, and I think I just found a nice solution B) https://youtu.be/8VB7ETw-MiQIn fact I just ordered some special (very large) cloths:I ordered from the US to the EU, now I fear Customs may turn the cloths into something with a value close to solid gold :# Ok, this thread isn't really about cleaning - although cleaning is important to keep tellys nice and working - dust is a slow killer! Next thing coming up: are high-speed HDMI cables really the same? Some authors have suggested so - and in some cases it may of course be true, like:Source: https://www.cnet.com/news/why-all-hdmi-cables-are-the-same-part-2/- and:Source: https://www.
And you can only choose ONE!For me it would have to be the Star Wars game with wireframe graphics where you had to fight Tie Fighters and blow up the Death Star. The sound and music were amazing at the time and the gameplay was great.I ALMOST opted for Track & Field, Double Dragon, Defender and Scramble but Star Wars JUST edged it! B) The BEST thing I've ever enjoyed in an arcade wasn't a game but a Dalek you could sit in where you could move the gun and plunger and get it to scream EXTERMINATE!!! That was so awesome to play with when I was a kid. They had one at the Broadstairs arcade in the 70s.
Ambulance people are awesome, as is the NHS. Just waiting for an x Ray. Think I've broken it in 2 places. Hopefully it'll just be a plaster job and won't need surgery! :(
Well I always thought we'd have a Cloud OS as a means of security by now but Google are going for the gaming market first.I just wonder why VR doesn't get this?!https://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/technology/google-announces-stadia-a-console-free-gaming-platform/ar-BBUYzoR?ocid=spartandhp
This looks amazing for all you Medium users! The resin is Gelatin Methacrylate Hydrogel.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yy-d5VVZlxQ
I've been using The Lock Stock in Onward and though I really like it, it needed some improvement. The forward rail consists of 3 separate pieces. I noticed some play at each seam so I added brackets on each side. It wasn't much movement, but the extra brackets help keep it even tighter. The joints are held together with a single 10-32 knob. There is a plastic ridged washer that helps keep it locked in place when tightened. The knobs have a tendency to loosen up over time. I got tired of having to re-tighten them every so often and added some brackets on those joints. Once I got the joints set into the position I liked I never change them anyways so this was easy decision to make. I even removed the knobs and replaced them with 1" 10-32 screws. Finally I added an adjustable cheek riser to the stock. The lower 2 mounting holes fit perfectly at the bottom of the stock. As you can see, this is where I put those knobs to good use.&nb
Excuse me for mentioning pancake, but I just came across this - probably well known (I don't cos I don't like this kind of tripe) but for your interest:https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-46624136Draw your own conclusions
Tumbling into a black hole with Stephen Hawking might seem the stuff of nightmares, but it is soon to become reality. Well, virtually at least. In the year before his death Professor Hawking began work on a groundbreaking project to digitally recreate the universe, allowing the cosmically curious to don a headset and glide over galaxies, bump through asteroid belts and witness the birth of stars. As his final lasting legacy, the theoretical physicist recorded hours of commentary to be played alongside the experience, so that he could personally inspire a new generation of space scientists. The project is being overseen by Anthony Geffen, the Bafta-award winning filmmaker whose previous virtual reality productions have included resurrecting dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum so they could interact with Sir David Attenborough.Launching the experience at London’s Science Museum Mr Geffen, the CEO of Atlantic Productions, said: “This will allow you to travel through Stephen’s mind.
https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/services/kinect-dk/The Azure Kinect is a new dev kit from Microsoft featuring the sensors from the Hololens 2.It's half the size of the Kinect 2 and features:- 7 microphone array- 1MP time of flight depth camera- 12MP RGB camera- IMU (accel & gyro) with 1.6kHz sample rate and 208Hz reporting to pc- support for Azure based cloud processing of data (but Azure not required to use it)- sync in and out ports to daisy chain multiple Kinects so they can work together without interfering with each other. It can do 4K RGB at 30Hz.
