Been really enjoying my Rift since summer but the low resolution finally got to me. Thus I broke down and went to the local Microsoft store at the mall and picked up a shiny new Samsung Odyssey. Now before Zenbane shits a brick, it turned out to be a bit fail. I have no idea how Samsung managed to pull this off, but despite having vastly superior lenses (no more death by lens flare) and roughly 30% better resolution with the same FoV, it's harder to read instruments in DCS and I swear it's lower resolution overall. I honestly wasn't expecting that at all, the whole point was to get better image quality, not worse!On the flip side, loading up Robo Recall and From Other Suns with it was far less of a hassle than I was expecting. Plan to return it tomorrow though. I just can't figure out how lower image quality with better lenses and screens is possible. this is a question for real (not volunteer) mods (no offense), we need the dislike button back, too much noise and bullshit on the forum these days, we are grown ups and do not need to be shielded from having our feelings hurt nor are we so intellectually stunted that we cannot handle being given the option to “like” or “dislike” a post, i feel that this is pretty insulting to ones intelligence and creates an “anything goes” atmosphere with no repercussions for beingn annoying or posting dumb shit

I strongly urge everyone top opt-in so we can all see the current trends with the best possible sample.Low-Mid tier or last gen GPU's reign supreme. AMD losing to Intel .. and the VR Wars ...

I'm looking for a good mid range television for gaming on in the United Kingdom. I've seen televisions by TCL & Vizo that are priced good, but they don't do that make here in the UK. These televisions are excellent when it comes to input lag, but I can't find anything like these in the UK? So anyone know of any good cheap 4K televisions that aren't just available in the USA? Looked at Hisense, but mixed reviews on them.

Well. I am working 10pm to 7am =DToday I played grim dawn and that was about it. My wife proceeded to get upset at me about it.Furthermore, I died on Hardcore Veteran.. Grr.. Hi, I'm not sure if I post in the right thread, but I still want to ask something.I have just purchased a used Toyota RAV4 2006 for sale [LINK REMOVED BY CYBEREALITY] from a Japanese platform since September as my birthday gift for myself. Well, I'm not a rich man .It runs smoothly and in good condition, however, I'm not really satisfied with its audio working, it does not work very well as I expected. I am thinking about getting the factory Subwoofer for my car, is there anyone used the factory set up? Is it worth the money? I don't like a woofer that will blow my eardrums out.Has anyone else acknowledged this problem? Many thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I'm curious as to how many folks received a Holiday Gift specific to Virtual Reality. Whether a piece of Hardware or Software.For me it was the GelPro Elite Floor Mat:I stood on this for an hour straight playing through the Single Player campaign of The Unspoken; the difference was impressive. Having been on my feet in VR for many long hours beginning back in April of 2016, I can say that having a high-end stress-relief floor mat feels awesome. There are plenty of other great mat's out there, and I highly recommend any of them to anyone who spends a great deal of time with Standing Experiences in VR.Anyone else get any fun/cool VR gifts?

Can anybody recommend any video player for VR with gesture controls?I mean video player which works with any hand and finger tracking system (like leap motion or glove).Are there any examples?
