Scott Adams (the guy who writes and draws Dilbert) has a blog.  In that blog he has written all sorts of things that are controversial.  Hell, he predicted Trump's election months and months (a year?) before it happened.  He's also a  published writer and trained hypnotist, among other things.  His latest post was pretty interesting because it echoes one of my long-held axioms of forum arguments - ad hominem is the last resort of someone who is fresh out of logical responses.  Here it is for those of you who might enjoy reading it.Scott Adams lists three other ways to tell you've "won" a political argument, but I think these apply equally to the discussions we have here on the board.  I know I've been guilty of a few of these over the years, so I'm going to try to avoid them if possible.I guess this is fair warning that I'm going to judge others based on a few of his criteria as well.  If you commit any of these four internet argument sins,

March 10th I received my Virtuix Omni I had Kickstarted nearly 4 YEARS AGO!   Assembled it, tested it, worked fine and planned on doing in depth reviews the following day after work.  Next day turn it on, Oculus says not connected and has orange light inside.  trouble shot for next few days, tried every remedy there is, cannot get rift to display an image.  So I pondered my dilemma of waiting weeks to get a new Rift from Oculus and stare at my Omni that I waited years for, or go to the Microsoft store and purchase am HTC Vive which they had in stock.  Obviously I threw down the $850 on the Vive and ran home to test Omni.       Now I have used Oculus for years from all the dev kits to the CV1 since release day, over 6 months now.  I was very pleased with my Oculus and the performance of the touch controllers as they blew me away.  I was anxious to done a Vive on my face however, as I had never tried one.  Everyone in

I decided to delve into Season 10 of Diablo 3, both on PS4 and PC.  I rarely play the Wizard class but for Season 10 I decided to give it a go.  I've always loved the concept of a lightning build so I decided to give it a try.  It's hardly the optimal build for this season, but I'm hardly an optimal player.  I just want to see lightning fill the entire screen and watch whole crowds of enemies sizzle like bacon.  No one was cheering for Luke in that scene.It turns out that a lightning build can be quite viable in Season 10.  However, in order to really shine I need one item: a ring called Manald Heal.  Now Diablo 3 is a perfect example of a loot lottery.  You run similar dungeons time after time, hoping for an item to drop that replaces or improves upon gear you already own.  As you improve your gear, you run more difficult versions of the same dungeons with slightly higher payouts but less likelihood of an upgrade.  Like every RPG, the

My God I hope VR continues. I had to send my Rift back and for 2 nights I've missed it badly. I was just getting back into DCS World flying the A10C and getting really good at Onward. Now I'm stuck playing 2D shitty games and I just can't get into them. i cannot post/browse without this huge  banner coming up on my phone asking "you have questions that have answers" and the "x" to close it is "greyed out", making it impossible to get rid of. i just tried to create a new message and it blocked the "post" button, so i tried to click the thin line of the "post" button that was visible underneath it, and of course it clicked the banner and i LOST MY WHOLE MESSAGE.I CANNOT POST NOW. in order to post this, i was forced to go into all my questions and mark then as "answered" or notis this supposed to be another "feature" of this forum? why is shit always breaking here because of these stupid "features" that some hipster intern thinks are a good idea?

Yearly Review of Customer Service - Oculus Forums

Hi everybodyI just built a gaming rig and bought a DK2, After trying to get the DK2 working on windows 10 pro and having to re-install windows 3 times I decided to do some research, I discovered the DK2 has issues with Win 10 pro as we all know!. for this reason I am asking for help. I have hit the brick wall and have no idea how to proceed. I have included the specs of my system and ask for help to try get my DK2 working. I've never had a VR headset so havn't a clue how to get it working.1. Issues: I plug my DK2 into the VR ready port on my Nvidea GTX1070 which is the top HDMI port. I plug the usb into a USB 3.1 on my motherboard. it powers up starts downloading USB drivers then I get a windows blue screen of death. "nothing works to get back into windows so re-install windows 10." VERY! frustrating... Question number 1. What drivers do I need to install? Is the DK2 plug and play? or do I need to have drivers installed first to avoid windows from crashing?2. Has Oculus released a
