Question

New Poll !! Are you VR gamed out atm?

I have put down my VR atm. Nothing really that exciting.. I am playing some RPG's 3rd person at the moment.
My headset has been hanging up for a week now.

If it wasn't for a certain online FPS game that I mention too often, I would be. But I am extremely competitive and that game is amazing. I could play it 5hs a day every day. However I have a good job and family that require my attention. I play 10 hours a week and don't see my self slowing down anytime soon.

If your a gamer and your burnt out on VR. The only reason is vr doesn't have YOUR game out yet I would bet.

What game would you happen to be talking about. The only thing I could think of is either csgo or overwatch.

No I was saying that I am very into VR because of a FPS game. I mentioned it so many time I assumed people would be sick of it now. But ONWARD, I could play that game 5h a day and it only has like 7 maps. Less if you don't count night time as a new map. It's just so much fun. Funny thing is I didn't think I would like it.

My Rift is permanently set-up, however I'm playing Zelda on the Switch, Nier on PC, plus doing some 3D printing ... Just haven't got the time or room to jump into VR right now.

Hoping to have a 3D printed sequential shifter done soon, so hopefully I can find a bit of time for VR with Dirt Rally, Assetto Corsa and R3E ... But, there's the Splatoon 2 global test fire going on this coming weekend so perhaps not.

I'm not VR gamed out but, I don't play VR games every day either; most of my game-time is spent playing Racing-Sims, some of which don't support VR.  I reserve VR for those times where I feel like playing something  different or want to explore a bit. It's very easy to jump into a quick round of VR-gaming when I have too little time to get setup for a Sim-racing session.

As for VR I wouldn't say that I'm "Gamed out" per se ... but there have been a lot of good releases this month that has me distracted. Ghost Recon Wild Lands, Nier Automata, and now Mass Effect Andromeda (Yes the animations are jank as hell, but I'll still be playing it).

    Very much this.

I've pumped a lot of hours into Breath of the Wild over the past couple of weeks. And I'll be putting that aside to play Mass Effect (and will go back to finish Zelda afterwards). I still have plenty of VR games I want to play and/or put more time into (eg Robo Recall came out the day before Zelda. So I played it a bit that evening and want to play more when I get the time).

So... I chose "environment" is preventing me from playing - even though it's nothing to do with play space, as such. It's just other unrelated external factors preventing me from playing much just now.

I'll probably try out Mass Effect on Big Screen, though. Does that count? :)

same, the combination of the intensity from being able to die easily and the kill satisfaction being off the charts, makes it real addictive

the only thing it needs is an ultra violence mode with real physics modeled flesh, bones and guts
