Hi for some reason I cant start a new thread but Im hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I recently had my first experience with 3D VR and was blown away I was playing a game like 3D wipe out which was amazing. what i also loved about it was the music and how it fitting to the game and the 3D atmosphere I was experiencing at the time. After thinking about it and doing some research with no luck I have commented here on this site to hopefully find out some information. My name is Daniel Backhouse aged 32 living in the UK. I have been a (underground) music producer/writing music for over 14 years. I've also written liricks for longer than that,I feel Im now getting to the point where my music is starting to sound very professional. The type of music I write is very futuristic and fast and is known as one of the hardest genres of music to produce (Drum and Bass). This year Im signing 3 tracks Im doing onto 3 different record labels. For anyone out there that doesnt listen or know much about Drum and Bass and the underground scene I.E not played on the radio, it has many sub genres within it and is the spear head of music tech in my opinion. Everything from cinematic, soul, techy liquid chilled out you name it can be made into this style of music and it has always been ahead of its time. Im by no means a game sound designer or composer, But within my industry I am a sound designer within my areas of expertise. I guess my question is it possible to get my music on games that are in development to which there suited and if so how would I go about it. My main goal is releasing my music as im doing this year but this has always interested me since I heard music I know and love on games such as GTA, ATV OFF ROAD etc. Also how has anybody else got into this kind of thing and what does your work entail. It has always interested me. I have an xbox one and i am impressed with the sound designing and FX. I know myself using synths the work and processing that must go into some things.
