Question

RE7 Makes You Sick!

However, despite all of that, if you’re sensitive to motion sickness
issues, this game may still bother you. Luckily, you can reload your
save file and switch between VR and non-VR at essentially any time,
making it easy to swap in and out of the headset and take frequent
breaks. But consider yourself warned that it may not feel great if you
don’t have well-established VR legs.

So against all the fanboy denials from the comments following the E3 presentation, the concerns seem to have been proven right about if Capcom could address the issue of instigating sim-sickness with this game.

Now the question will be if that will also be the case for the CV1 port?

Well... I read that article too. And the author said he experienced zero problems (and says he never suffers from motion sickness). So all he's doing there is acknowledging that the possibility exists that some people might have issues - just as it exists for every VR game on every VR device. He's not saying it's a particular problem in that game. The whole article was based around discussing possible reasons people might choose to play the game in VR or 2D.

To be clear - I have no clue if the game is bad as far as VR sickness goes or not. I don't have PSVR and am hoping that one day it will get a CV! release, just as a lot of people here are.

I could careless about if it comes out in VR for PC systems or not as I do NOT plan to play it, sorry I don't want to see gore in VR like what is in that.  I will say that it was sort of stupid to not allow it for the Oculus and Vive though, they could have made so much more money on opening day.  I guess they have enough money and don't need or want the extra.  Besides the 2 DLC adding that will be coming out are not going to be in VR anyway, which is weird since they are saying it is the "meatiest" and most repeatable part of the RE:7.

Same as the other 2 posts asking this, show us a link displaying this, as it's not currently possible.

The guy in question says he's using Vorpex to play. The head tracking looks pretty poor, appears to be 2dof only (just pitch/yaw mapped to thumbstick camera).

The most repeatable parts of the DLC are in VR though.

The first two DLC each contain 3 things, 2 of which are VR compatible and 1 that isn't. So only 2 out of 6 aren't VR.

I don't know who but someone needs to solve this shit, I don't care who it is but it is severely impacting the scope of VR until it's solved.

Whether it's vestibular stimulation or another method... well, I don't want to hear of sickness caused on the #1 mainstream VR title to date as it's just bad for all of VR.

But the exclusive deal is awful. Nobody will care about RE7 VR on PC after a year. I won't buy this game anyway.

I care. I don't play kiddie consoles.

Ironic turn of phrase considering saying that makes you sound like a child.

I've had Vive, DK2 and PSVR, they all have merits. PSVR has some extrmely nice things going for it (and a lot of crap ones inc tracking). The fact it runs from a slower computer than a rift/vive can is NOT the reason to hate on it. It destroyed my vive and my time with rift on screen quality (lenses) and comfort, zero god rays, could wear it for hours etc.

Consoles are low powered sure, but if you want VR to be a thing then a console is going to help drive it, at least it has some form of real input (which rift didn't have for almost a year) and positional tracking (Gear VR has neither and is the most popular VR right now doing perception damage as we speak).

Consoles are not for 'kiddies', there are some stunning games on them, and for certain types of games I'll always prefer to kick back with a  plug/play system on my sofa with a small quiet system, a slick dashboard and instant wakeup and on with the game. I'm primarily a PC user and have been since the late 90s (my first PC mindblower as the original unreal and using its editor/engine) but I've had a mix of computers and consoles going right back to 1980 as a very young kid with the Atari VCS2600, then through ZX Spectrum, Amiga, Snes, Playstation, PC etc... an each of them has brought experiences only they could have at the time. Just because one computer is wrapped up in a small slick package and costs less and may not be as powerful doesn't make it 'kiddie'.

Broaden your mind, your fun/life enjoyment factor might improve.

Compared to animals, they are the equivelent to a juvenile and pc's are adult.

So kiddie consoles sounds accurate.
I sense jealousy, is @PassiveVR not part of the glorious rift master race?
