Question

The Amiga 3000 - a VR pioneer

Hi All

Hope you do not mind me posting this, but with all of the news around the virtual reality explosion at the moment I thought I would ask Phil South, to write a story to remind every one of an Amiga pioneer, especially with the 30th anniversary coming up. I assume Palmer has one of these in his collection as well :-)

    wow, I loved my amiga, i have an A500, an A1200 and then a super charged A1200 with 16mb of super fast ram, 400mb HDD and a lighting 68030 ..... 40mhz or 50mhz  cant remember accelerator.

    i also loved virutality, but i never knew it was powered by the trusty CBM hardware.
    Fiat Coupe, gone. 350Z gone. Dirty nappies, no sleep & practical transport incoming. Thank goodness for VR :)

    I still have two A500s :) Do you guys know that the earlier Babylon 5 series SFX were created on A3000s ? Now that was cool!

    Star Trek Next Gen too, if i remember right!

    =====================

    Terminator 2 and Seaquest DSV were done on an amiga. i do not think star trek was but could be wrong.
