In my case, I gave her nothing. We have split finances for personal spending. She spends hers how she wants and I spend mine.

I'm actually kind of in the doghouse for selling it though as she loved it. I told her to use her own money to buy one as I couldn't pass up the profit.  :D

It's a hand-woven Persian carpet, but yeah it's a matter of taste, guess I've gotten used to it ;) You'd love the Hulk-green couch with Galactus-colored cushions too, lol. 

The wife just got her cruise - price more than 5 Indices (Index plural = Indices according to Gabe) for 8 days, must be enough. Also means that the Index only costs 1½ days at sea, lol. BTW, the ship is the 6th largest cruise ship ever built (nearly 6,000 passenger as the max) - and it has the largest screen ever made for a ship - 5200 sq feet dome LED - and they used CV1 to design it:

Yup, but it was her idea - "happy wife, happy life"  ;) Also building a new raised brick terrace for the house, her idea too, soon I'll need more than the Index!

Well you're in good stead then. My missus cruise is later this year  :/ Anyhow I just got shipping info  excuse the poor pun. They use GLS is this the same as yours? From the Netherlands? Never-heard-of-em-lands before excuse the equally poor pun again.
