Question

The Last Of Us

I'd write something more detailed.. But as it stands I'm 70% of the way through a life changing, once in a lifetime type of game (if you can even call it that) and I can't stop. No sleep, no rest. I'll discuss further once complete.

As for the rest of you playing it, played it, or about to play it... Your probably still in shock and awe as much as I.. So feel free to discuss until I get back to this thread.

For the rest of you... Why are you still reading this? You should do anything it takes.. And I mean anything, to either obtain a ps3 or this game (or both) right this instant. Go on. Go. You'll thank me later.

Yes, been waiting for a month to borrow this game from a friend and finished it in one night. One of the most beautiful games I've played in a while. Having Ellie as a sidekick(More like a friend, sidekick would be too much of an insult) was even better than venturing with Elizabeth from Infinite, and I loved that game. Naughty Dog did an absolutely stunning job of putting together a believable world with believable characters that tug at my heartstrings at every damn turn.. Within the first 20 minutes of the game I was already shedding tears, and everytime I watch someone else watch the scene I still get a pang in my heart and try my best to hold back the tears. (You all know what I'm talking about..) This game falls nothing short of absolutely beautiful, 10/10 for me, as I've already gone back to replay the game on Survivalist mode.

I love watching people play through or watch the opening scene of that game. Even people that expect it to be dark in tone are blindsided by how brutal that sequence is.
