Here's mine...

I'm a huge fan of The Metal but I think I'll start with some of my legendary, less angry, favorites.

Probably my favorite band of all time across all genres is Primus. I've seen them live twice, and I've seen Les Claypool live in his solo act once.

It all started with "Jerry was a Race car driver"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBQ2305fLeA

For those who don't know Les, fun fact: he once audition for Metallica and they denied him based solely on the fact that he is far too damn good for them.

I've seen tons of bands live (Slayer, Megadeth, Sepultura, Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse, Korn, System of a Down, Pantera, Slipknot, Lamb of God - to name a few). But Primus is the band that showed me first hand the largest mosh pit I've ever seen, and it was to this mighty cute song:

A few thousand people went ape shit at the 1:37 mark.

I hold in high regard just about everything Claypool releases; if I had to pick a favorite song it is simply, Here Come The Bastards

Nephew sound pretty cool. En Wannabe Darth Vader and Va Fangool are both going in my playlist. :)

Continuing the international theme...

Japan
Sing In My Own Way by Handsome Kenya (and awesome video by Sugimoto Kousuke)

See if you can follow every parallel storyline. I've watched it many times and I'm still picking up little details I missed.

Argentina
The Wolf by Siames

Cool art style and great song.

Mexico
Cornman by Kinky

I was going to go with my favourite Apocalypshit by Molotov, but apparently everybody now thinks it's from Breaking Bad, whereas I heard it many years earlier in the Total Overdose sound track. But this one is good too.

Germany
Alles Neu by Peter Fox

@kojack - you sure have a diverse taste in music! :)

I really like that Peter Fox song - I've always had a weak spot for german (pop) rap - primarily Die Fantastischen Vier, and some of Thomas D's solo career songs. But I've also listened to Sabrina Setlur, Xaiver Naidoo amongst others.

Not recently though.. maybe I should see what I can dig up :)

I know german because when I was a kid danish TV sucked, so I grew up on Sesamstrasse.

I first heard Cornman on a mexican restaurant website, they had part of it playing in a loop. I had to look it up. :)

I'm a fan of KMFDM (started as a german group, but got british and american members over the years) and Rammstein. The language suits high energy music like that.
I found out about Peter Fox in a cracked.com article called "4 Music Videos on YouTube That Will Make You a Better Person". I also found Sugimoto Kousuke there (did the Sing In My Own Way video above).

Scotland
Sore Feet Song by Ally Kerr (used in the season 1 intro to the amazing anime series Mushishi)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBBFDb0hC4Y
Just such a calm and peaceful song (although one verse gets a bit dark).
I was going to put Light Before We Land by The Delgados here, it was the intro song to the anime Gunslinger Girls. Great song, but the anime was depressing and disturbing. Mushishi is a better show so Ally wins for Scotland. :)

Australia
Karma by 1200 Techniques

Cool video and song.

South Africa
Get Busy Living by Goldfish
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cjwoit91SxU
They have a heap of great songs, most with cool animated videos. Plus the art style of Get Busy Living looks like it was done in Quill. :)

Russia
Give Me Your Money by Little Big
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2uTMTyqQxl4
Their best song / video (maybe greatest video of all time) is Big Dick, but it's a bit too offensive for me to link directly (it makes Bloodhound Gang lyrics seem subtle in comparison). :) Watch it though! :)
Hateful Love is another interesting Little Big one. The song isn't as good as Give Me Your Money, but the video is artistically fascinating. There's nothing else quite like it (that I've seen). I mean, there's a woman riding a raw meat skateboard. WTF?
