The Music Thread

Share some of your favorite songs, artists, ideas, creations, etc.

Here's mine...


I'm a huge fan of The Metal but I think I'll start with some of my legendary, less angry, favorites.

Probably my favorite band of all time across all genres is Primus. I've seen them live twice, and I've seen Les Claypool live in his solo act once.

For those who don't know Les, fun fact: he once audition for Metallica and they denied him based solely on the fact that he is far too damn good for them.

I've seen tons of bands live (Slayer, Megadeth, Sepultura, Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse, Korn, System of a Down, Pantera, Slipknot, Lamb of God - to name a few). But Primus is the band that showed me first hand the largest mosh pit I've ever seen, and it was to this mighty cute song:

I hold in high regard just about everything Claypool releases; if I had to pick a favorite song it is simply, Here Come The Bastards

    I don't normally like to judge people's musical preferences, but your spam in this thread is making it hard to enjoy some of the good contributions. Every time someone posts something good, you respond with a bunch of YouTube videos that all sound the same. And I have to scroll and scroll and scroll to get to the good stuff. Kindly consider taking a break. Thanks in advance.

    It isn't "once in awhile" in your case. It's spam. And it sucks. You can keep posting it, I can't stop you. I'll just add you to ignore so that I can see the better music postings easier instead of having to scroll through the garbage.

    Hi Zen mate, I have not tried to defend posts as some in the strings are an obvious meme. We are on here for entertainment surely. Lighten up buddy and I'll buy you a drink in Thailand when you're next over. When I said once in a while it was as you know directed for you to try it once in a while but maybe I am bad at English and manners and have heard all the metal I know I like ands base any new stuff as shreds and shouts. KPOP on the other half is for men who like girls ;)

    No, KPOP is for a manchild who has little experience with women. And this thread is for people who understand how to express an artistic sense of music. This is not another thread for you to fling your poop at. Feel free to start a KPOP thread instead of polluting this one with that garbage.

    This song is receiving a huge lot of interest especially as it is first released, as their others on their 6th Mini Album, but it far out ways the opening song Zimzalabim which to many don't like and don't get why they did it!
    Unbelievable that an Official MV is not even ready yet so many fan produced ones already came out within even 2days! So here's another great Fan Made one which really reflects the song in greatness. I do wonder how even an Official one would compete ;)

    OMG so much of the N Word! KPOP has more N Words but it's in Korean meaning...

    "‘Ne-ga(네가)’ means ‘You’. And ‘Ni-ga(니가)’ is very informal version with same meaning.

    ‘Nae-ga(내가)’, which means ‘I’, sounds almost same as ‘Ne-ga(You)’. That is why people (usually among friends) use ‘Ni-ga’ for speaking.

    You should NOT use ‘Ne-ga’, ‘Ni-ga’ and ‘Nae-ga’ to strangers, someone who is older (e.g. OPPA) than you, and in formal occasion." Same same then!

    Considering lots of lyrics contain the words "I" and "You" that's a hell of a lot of it!!!
