Here's mine...

I'm a huge fan of The Metal but I think I'll start with some of my legendary, less angry, favorites.

Probably my favorite band of all time across all genres is Primus. I've seen them live twice, and I've seen Les Claypool live in his solo act once.

It all started with "Jerry was a Race car driver"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBQ2305fLeA

For those who don't know Les, fun fact: he once audition for Metallica and they denied him based solely on the fact that he is far too damn good for them.

I've seen tons of bands live (Slayer, Megadeth, Sepultura, Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse, Korn, System of a Down, Pantera, Slipknot, Lamb of God - to name a few). But Primus is the band that showed me first hand the largest mosh pit I've ever seen, and it was to this mighty cute song:

A few thousand people went ape shit at the 1:37 mark.

I hold in high regard just about everything Claypool releases; if I had to pick a favorite song it is simply, Here Come The Bastards

I like to think that black tracksuit Salvatore in Step-Grandma is the evil twin of the animal saving white tracksuit Salvatore in Horse, and that we'll get a video of an epic battle between them (with a lot of dancing).

Well, I was kind of right.

There is going to be an epic battle, but it's not between black tracksuit and white tracksuit Salvatore. Instead it's between blue tracksuit Salvatore and a girl who controls a giant disembodied hand. As an anime battle!

There's not much info that I can see, but the video is apparently called Fight Dirty and seems to be a preview, and he has something called Fight Dirty being released on spotify in 22 hours. https://mdlbeast.streamlink.to/fight-dirty

I don't know if that is an album or single, but it seems there will be a video to go along with it.

There were two recent deaths in the world of music,

        • ZZ Top bassist, Dusty Hill
        • Joey from Slipknot

In their memory, here are my favorite ZZ Top and Slipknot songs,

True story, I was driving my pickup truck (back in my early 20s) along a Texas highway at high-speed while listening to this song, and one of my tires blew right the heck off! Great memory lol

        Slipknot, The Heretic Anthem

Fight Dirty is a single, and half a day after the spotify (and a couple of other services) release the full animated video was released on youtube too.

          Love it!

Yup, that is quite epic, kojack!

I love this bit of dialogue exchange lol

"she went berzerk. Now she's coming for you."

"Sometimes I cry when I'm alone."

It took me three watches before I noticed that Salvatore's bodyguards at the temple were boycycles. 🙂

I also think the cop is based on his father from Boycycle.

If you enjoyed the previous Thump videos (I'm Pissed and I'm Too Funky), they just released a new video today: Struttin'.

I'm not going to link it though, since the video has Lucas showing his ass for a fair bit of it. Catchy song and funny video though.

                So here's Thump's Mental Karate

I simply have to annoy you with Pete & Bas.
If you know a bit about rap music, and can diffrentiate between what is real and what is fake, this will be bangers for you, still leaving one confused.
I was sure they had ghostwriters listening to their first songs.

But there is just to much technic bars finess and love in the **bleep** they spit.
lol ... I want to be them when I get older.

Starting off with what shows they are not just a gimmick, then dropping a few confusing ones.

                  fun:

After a couple of collaborations with Little Big brought him to my attention, I've become hooked on Oliver Tree. He's, umm, rather unique.

Most of his videos involve him being seriously injured (hit by cars, etc).

It's not music, but here's Oliver showing his kitchen and talking about his new diet.

                    🙂

I recently learned of the passing of David Wayne, best known as the singer for the old school metal band, Metal Church. My first Metal Church song was, Badlands. And I was a huge fan of their work as a kid.

                      RIP David Wayne ðŸ˜¢

About 1.5 hours ago Siames released a new video!

I always like their animated videos. All done by the same animation company (Rudo Co.), but different art styles.

At the moment my youtube recommended playlists are mostly Oliver Tree and Chemical Brothers.
