    Bad luck @vannagirl, Colombia were my second favourites for the cup

    1st ever England penalty shootout win in world cup !!!
    I have not been so nervous since 2008 European cup final penalties (also on Russia)
    Fiat Coupe, gone. 350Z gone. Dirty nappies, no sleep & practical transport incoming. Thank goodness for VR :)

    There will never be an easier route (on paper) to the final of a WC that is for sure.

    Wow - huge amount of replies since last time!

    Oh yes: YUSSSSSSSSS!!!  :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

    I watched yesterday so Snowy, you don't have to worry any more - the curse is lifted! :)

    In fact, despite not usually being a footy fan (rugby union addict here) my heart was going ten to the dozen for the whole 2+ hours. Had to regularly go outside to get some fresh air and was pacing round the coffee table for the penalties. I almost switched off after the save. So glad I didn't.

    Sorry Sweden, you're going down! :p

    Not sure what I was thinking about when I read that post, must have been in shock when I first read that post because it's quite clear that @vannagirl is Colombian. And of course that means one VERY important thing:

    There is no future for us. Why? Because, you crazy fools, the Colombians are obviously nowhere near as good as us English at football. So once @vannagirl starts popping out my babies our kids are going to have the disadvantage of being half-Colombian and will end up getting picked last when teams are selected during PE lessons and they'll probably get bullied for being half crap at football.

    Well that's France in the Semis after they've beaten Uruguay 2-0. Always good to see those dirty bastards getting knocked out of a competition, they're a disgrace to football and always have been.

    Next up is Brazil vs Belgium.

    I don't mind who wins these matches tbh cos NOBODY is gonna stop us from winning da World Cup! B)
