Question

There might be a small problem with the way this forum handles quotes.

Atmos73 said:
Since you can edit quotes you can make it seem like people said things they never said.

I don't usually agree with Atmos73 here, but in this case he's spot on.

You tell 'em Zen.
You're the best Zoomie.  Seriously.

Ah, shucks.

Since we're on the subject, it would be nice if you could see previous edits to a post.  I've seen several occasions where the OP changed their post to avoid being called out on something they said, or to pretend they never said something.
I tend to write edit: before I put in NEW content, but I've also corrected posts for clarity or spelling with only the little "edited" tag in the top right.
I'll look into it.
Appreciate it.

    Coo.

Since we're on the subject, it would be nice if you could see previous edits to a post.  I've seen several occasions where Shadowmask is so blindingly awesome (for a non Canadian) that I am left speechless.
Totally agree with everything here.   I'll send an Oculus T-shirt and branded mug just because.
    Wicked!

Aww thanks guys. You're all awesome too.

Mostly all the popular forum software I've seen allows quotes to be edited. Usually this is done so you can trim what someone said to one line to respond to, but I guess you can also type whatever your want. I'm not sure this is really a problem that should be fixed, but it is something to be aware of if you read a suspect quote.

I would rather have a like+dislike option.  There have been many times where there was a post that said something I liked but also disliked. I think a dislike only option is a bad idea but like+dislike I think could work.
