Who wants to be violent in VR?? Do you think people will want to do the fantasy in real life?

This topic reminds me of that new HBO show, Westworld

I would want to be violent in VR but only against other violent people.

I think for some actions there is more curiosity than the thrill of the evilness.  

Like IRL normal people would never want to commit violent acts on living things because they know what happens to it - pain, suffering, death, all those terrible torturing acts. 

Though in a virtual world there is none of that, but it's more interesting to see what would happen if you did it. Like in GTA to just go all crazy and start tearing up the city. What's going to happen if I actually do this - not so much that I want see these innocent people suffer, cause I have so much anger and rage built up.

Though as VR becomes more and more real, the gap is going to shrink, and then it may be harder for normal people to just go all postal - they may actual feel for the VR life.
