Account disabled after age-verification deadline (June 6) — login codes still work, need escalation
Hi, I'm the rightful owner of a Meta account (email: diw**@gmail.com) that got permanently disabled after the age-verification deadline on June 6. I received the "permanently disabled" email, which seems to be part of a batch enforcement, and I'd like to request a manual review.
First things first: I'm well over the required age. I'm an adult and a recent university graduate, and I'm happy to send a government-issued ID right away to confirm my age and get the verification process reopened.
The main problem is that I can't reach any appeal option at all. Whenever I try to log in (web, incognito mode, different browsers, a different device, even the Meta Horizon / Quest app), I just get bounced back to the login screen. There's no "account disabled" message and no appeal or age-verification prompt anywhere. And every standard support path assumes I can log into the account first, which I can't.
Two things that show the account is genuinely mine and still recoverable:
- When I request a login code, it still arrives at my registered email and gets accepted.. So the account clearly still exists in your system and hasn't been fully deleted. It just seems locked, even though the login system still recognizes me.
- I have proof of purchase (receipts / transaction records) for content on this account, which shows both ownership and that this is a legitimate adult-owned account.
Some extra context: this is specifically my Meta / Meta Horizon account, the one I use to sign in on my Meta Quest 3. With the account disabled I'm locked out of the headset itself and everything I've bought on it, so I really need this to reach the right team. I also use this account for VR development work, so losing it permanently would hit me twice over.
Since there's no appeal option showing up anywhere on my end, I'm hoping someone can escalate this manually to whoever handles age-verification reinstatements. My ID and purchase receipts are ready to go — just point me to a secure way to send them.
Thanks a lot for any help with this.
