Another problem with Quests and Rewards/ cant redeem meta points

Its starting to get silly now. Almost as if Meta doesnt want you getting free stuff.

A few days ago, you couldnt open Mobile meta games (ones required to play to complete certain quests), a day later i couldnt even access the quests and rewards option, always getting an error, and now for 4 days in a row, when i complete the requirements for a quest, the quest disappears from the list but doesnt pay out the relevant amount of meta points.

Feels almost intentional. 

As before, this issue is not resolved by clearing cache, deleting data, re-installing mobile app, using a different device, etc.

Please fix this its very disheartening.

        This is crazy.... not only has it still not been fixed.... it also went back to doing the error that wont let me into the quests and rewards section at all now 🤣 shame meta... shame...

        Meta has increasingly centralized feedback into private channels (in‑app reporting, developer programs, internal analytics) rather than open forums where users can see and upvote ideas. There used to be an Ideas Board here, but Meta shut it down months ago. You're probably wasting your time posting here. You should submit feedback and bug reports through the app itself.

          Guys mine works again as of today. Its still acting strange but it awarded me 250 points and i got another 50 trying out one of the daily challenges. 

          I was in contact with meta support on whatsapp yesterday for a different issue and now it works again lol. 

          Hopefully this means i can hear people again in horizon worlds which is the 2nd issue that arose only recently.

            Good to hear... It's not quite the same for me as it used to be. There are still two tasks left. One is worth 50 points and the other 100 points. And in the worlds for the Android app, I couldn't use the exit button to return to the main menu last week. Since the current update, it's been a gamble. But it's good that we're getting the points back... luckily we still have some time to redeem a few things. 

             

            I've already reported the exit problem via the problem reporting function.

            I just got an update for the Horizon app via Google PlayStore. And lo and behold, I got points again.

            So I hope the problem is solved for you too. I've been in frequent contact with support over the last two weeks.

                And yet another new insight... then it's probably a typical regional problem. If new problems arise in the future, we'll have to mention that we don't have all the updates here yet. It generally takes a long time for us to get the new worlds and features here. Okay, it's free. But it's a shame that it's so stark in comparison to PSN or Xbox Live. Unfortunately, it's pure chaos.

                I mean arguably we paid more here in € for the headset than anyone over there did in $. Too bad meta doesnt much care.

                What is REALLY annoying is that although it's fixed, it rewarded me precisely zero of the points that I thought were going to be retrospectively applied when it started working again. I kept doing the dailies throughout 

                I must have literally lost HUNDREDS of points to this stupid bug.

                Hey, I can understand your frustration. Also because it seems so different for us. 

                 

                Do you have the normal number of quests again? It's no longer the case that I have only 2 one day and then 5 the next, but I only have 5 and they hardly ever change... I can't stand seeing Super Strike anymore. XD

                 

                I'll have to ask about that. Also, whether they will allow us to choose our own lobbies for the Horizon app, as with quest 3. For example, the gym hardly ever works on the Android app now.

                Im glad its working for you guys again. As soon as this problem resolved itself, i had a new one.... i cant hear anyone in any worlds or horizon central and they cant hear me. Ive gone through every single possible way to solve this including a factory reset of the whole headset and a different account but to no avail....

                Even customer service was useless

                Hey, I can still hear the screaming kids. ^^ I just checked again. Some were very quiet, but others were at a normal volume. I think the quiet ones were on the tower.

                 

                Since you've already gone through all the steps again, we can only hope that you're not the only one. Do you already have a thread about this, or has anyone else been looking for like-minded people?

                This is Day 6 of completing Quests for points, the quest goes away when I complete it but I DO NOT GE MY POINTS, Getting Pretty Mad about the whole thing, and feel like NOTHING is being done about it...🤬

                  Good luck man. This problem resolved itself for me at some point. Ive since stopped going on worlds and play vrchat now. Better avatar selection there anyways

                    And still in June it only gives points when it wants to. From February to June. Must be going for a record.
