Best Asus Motherboard for Gaming and Performance in 2025 | Expert Guide

I researched the best asus motherboard for gaming and performance in 2025 over the past few days because I am planning to upgrade my PC soon. After reading reviews on trusted tech sites like Tom’s Hardware, PCMag, and TechRadar, I found that these two models are often highlighted as the top choices for gamers and performance users:

ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E Gaming WiFi

ASUS TUF Gaming B850-PLUS WiFi

I am still a bit unsure which one would be the better option for my needs. I want a motherboard that offers excellent performance, durability, and features suitable for both gaming and productivity. My current setup includes a Ryzen 7 or Intel i7 CPU (depending on the board), an RTX 4070 GPU, 32GB of DDR4/DDR5 RAM, NVMe SSD and HDD for storage, and a custom cooling setup.I lwoud really appreciate some expert opinions on which Asus motherboard would be the best fit for both budget and high-end builds. If anyone has personal experiences or other recommendations, please share them here. Thanks in advance

Pretty hard to recommend anything based on your post.  All I can say is that my ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E Gaming WiFi motherboard works great with my 9800x3d, 64Gb 6000 ram, and rtx5090.

So, I guess if you are planning to upgrade things like ram, cpu, and gpu in the near future, that board may be ok.

i9 13900K water cooled, RTX4090, Z790 MB w/wifi6e, 64Gb 6400 ram, 2x2TB SSD, 1000W PSU, Win 11, QPro, Q3, w/Link and Air Link, Vive Pro1 with 2x2.0 base stations, Etsy lens mod and Index Controllers

Another great Motherboard would be the Asus ROG STRIX Z790-F GAMING WIFI currently using that with a I9-14900KF and RTX 5080 Big of a higher budget but should be good for other future intel upgrades
