Cannot upload verification selfie

I'm having issues uploading verification selfies on my main META account. When I try to login (to META) it asks for a selfie, but as shown in the screenshot (from the META login page) it won't let me upload.

As I can't upload a selfie I can't access META support, which means I've had to create a brand new META account just to get support. 😤

Can you please help? My main META account is (apparently I can't tell you) and the email is (again apparently I can't put that here, even if I'm comfortable putting it here), I've been on facebook since pre-2009, and I think META is owned by FB so there shouldn't be any issues verifying me with all that user data.

Also the META 3 I got today says no support available, can you tell me why?

My friend, this is a public user forum.. Nobody from Meta is on here. You have put your security in grave danger by sharing this information on an open public forum. Please edit your post and delete your email, user name and ALL those photos. What are you doing man?!!!! 😳

Yeah it looks like a mod has redacted a bunch of stuff, but I still need help. I honestly don't mind the info being out there.

I've seen some meta admins around on here so I'm hoping one of them see this and come to my aid.

Just to let you know, that it's not really clear that it's not a Facebook account. Because all accounts for Quest,, Facebook, Instagram are all Meta accounts. However, as I said, your problem is that your account has been suspended and depending on when that happened, you might be permanently banned if you hadn't appealed it within 30 days.

I'm stuck on software version 66 too while I wait for this to be resolved, can anyone help me update my headset in the meantime?

Wow, that headset wasn't updated for almost two years 😲

Try updating the Quest with the method shown in the video.

I think, you won't be able to jump to the latest version immediately, you probably need to update the headset step by step.... maybe by always skipping two or three versions only.

The other option............. sell the Quest 3 with v66. It has still the old Quest homes on it, you might get a good price for it.

There are people out, they'd probably sell their mother to get the old homes back😂
