Data forwarding in meta XR simulator crashes Unity in MacOS

Hello,

I am using Unity on MacOS, and I can connect to meta XR simulator. I had to get the data forwarding apk v1.0 from home-brew, but when I try to connect to my controllers using data forwarding, it crashes Unity right away.

Has anyone come across this problem, and have a fix/workaround?
