Dell Pro Max 14” with RTX Pro 2000 (Blackwell) Not compatible?

Just ignore the warning, as long as Link seems to be working. Link doesn't recognise newer graphics cards and gives a false warning.

The Dell Pro Max 14” with RTX Pro 2000 (Blackwell) may face compatibility issues depending on driver support and the applications you’re trying to run. Since Blackwell GPUs are still new, some software might not yet be fully optimized, which can cause glitches or limited performance. Always check for the latest BIOS and driver updates from Dell and NVIDIA. It’s a bit like checking the Seven brew Menu before ordering — making sure everything you want is available and supported ensures a smoother experience.

Hi again Whereskunaldo,

We just wanted to check in with you and inquire if you are still needing assistance, regarding the incompatibility notifications you receive on your new laptop when attempting to dive into PCVR. If so, then please send us a private message, as we'd be more than happy to help.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi all, still have the same errors within the Meta Quest Link App. I’ve installed the latest Dell and Nvidia drivers.

also experiences look very choppy even when using thunderbolt 4 or 5 cables. So think this could indeed be GPU and Drivers related issues.

the computer and gpu came out 4-5 months ago.

any chance of optimizations coming out soon? A consumer laptop from 2 years ago runs experiences smoother than my laptop. I get it’s a pro not consumer RTX GPU but figure this should be running smooth like butter regardless.

Likely not a setting issue Meta Quest Link hasn’t fully whitelisted RTX Pro 2000 (Blackwell) yet, so it shows as incompatible despite having more than enough power. This usually gets fixed with future Meta or NVIDIA driver updates , so it’s a “wait for support” situation rather than a hardware capcut problem.
