Question

Despite having a subscription game townsmen has vanished!

I'm new to VR and have a Quest 3 Pro. I have a current subscription and was enjoying Townsmen VR. I disappeared from my library. It was in a different part of the fiie system. It doesn't say it's installed even in the store, it only says I can purchase it. I don't think I have cloud backup on. How can I get it back.

    Townsman was in the Horizon+ games cataloge. The games in the cataloge changes from time to time. Some disappear, others are added.

    You can play these games for free as long as they are in the cataloge. Afterwards you have to buy them if you want continue playing them.

    Good thing is.... when games have been removed from the cataloge, they are on discount for a while. You can get Townsman really cheap currently.👍

      You either have a Quest Pro or a Quest 3. The Pro was released in October 2022, the Quest 3, October 2023.

      But why would you switch off cloud backup? It's where your games and progress are saved.  However, Horizon plus games that are part of the catalog of free games, (excluding the two monthly games that you keep as long as you have your subscription) can and do leave the catalog. For example Red Matter 1 was a catalog game I played but now it's no longer available without paying for it. Townsmen was in the same category.. It's not on the catalog anymore but it's at a much reduced price of $7.49 if you want it.
