Headset not turning on

It’s not my headset it’s my friends. So we wanted to play some day but when he was hopping on his headset turns on but immediately turns off. He have been trying for months but it doesn’t work. Can somebody help. He has a quest 2 and doesn’t want to buy a new one:(

    There could be many reasons for this from battery or some other hardware or software issue. He should contact Meta Support directly about this. There's a link below to contact a Meta support person directly.

    Another option, if he is in the US is to send his headset to Fix My Oculus,, a very good company who don't charge too much. Alternatively he might find a service in his own country.

      Is your friend able to charge the headset?  Is the charging LED lit?

      If not, he can try blip charging the Quest to get it working again. Read the first comment at the following link for instructions.

      If this doesn't work follow Maccyb123​ suggestion and look for a repair service.
